Good luck to all of us! My little progress: 1.For "E" And for "K" I made new cockpits, seats and tarpaulin covers for landing gear( E&K the same ) And now I'm starting the main assembling... -
Very interesting GB, and P-40 is one of my favorite fighters. I'm starting to build modification E and conversion from E to K using AZmodel sets. These kits are exactly the same, so I made photos of only one set: I'm going to use Marabu design etching for cockpits and flaps (flaps for P-40E only): Both Warhawks will be from the AVG: Sergiy (S48).

Guys, I'm sorry, but all of you made the same mistakes! 1. The pilot seat must be unpainted natural metal at all modifications from B to M: 2. And all modifications from B to N had canvas covers in the wheel wells:

I did not say that it's not right, I said: I not seen this camo scheme before, just unusual like for me! Now I will look for Squadron Signal book "56th Fighter Group"... Thanks for the info! Sergiy- 47 replies

Really nice Russ, great assembling and paintjob, but I not seen this camo scheme before: always thought that instead of gray should be tan... I'm going to do Trojan in Vietnam II GB, and I think I need to find more information... What if you're right? But I like yours T-28, really ! Cheers, Sergiy.- 47 replies

Guys, thanks for your words! I made them, but as I know after 18 months of using (121 operational missions, 15 trips to Berlin) "Phantom..." was sent to Heavy Conversion Unit at Lindholme to be used for training new crews. That's why I decided not to put flame guards - they simply were not needed. -

I'm not sure yet... I have an unusual P-40F, who knows, maybe:
