  1. Hi I have one of these on the way to build next. As regards thinning Tamiya spray paints, I struggled with orange peel and uneven finishes when I first airbrushed them and then I saw a suggestion from someone to thin them with 15% to 20% cellulose thinner ( lacquer thinner). I found this made a huge difference to my paint jobs and I was getting great finishes every time. As for the clear coat I would always use TS 13 once the paint has had time to fully cure - I would leave it for a week. I don't use Tamiya sprays much any more as I am using Zero Paint and their 2K Clear. I have found the level of shine that can be attained with this stuff much superior to the Tamiya sprays. Hope this helps, Regards, Jay.
  2. I also have one of these unbuilt so will be watching with interest. Regards,Jay.
  3. Hi all, Here is my just finished GT-R Z Tune. It was a lot of fun to build. The paint is Tamiya Candy Lime Green followed by Zero paints 2K Clear. Hope you like.
  4. Hi all. This is my recently completed project. After all the mistakes made on this model I think its time to put it behind me and move on. Hopefully the next model will be better.
  5. Thanks Rich. I think I may build another version of this myself at some point.
  6. Hi All, I havent posted in a while so here are some shots of my latest project which seems to be going on forever. You know the feeling when you turn over the instructions page expecting there to be just a couple of steps left only to find you still have a LONG way to go ? Anyway here it is Its the Tamiya kit. The body is all but finished and hopefully it will all come together soon. Hope you like.
  7. Thanks for the kind comments everyone.
