I have been looking at getting an airbrush for 1:72 aircraft modelling for years now but, as times are tight the price of the higher spec ones is right out of my price range (I am thinking here of the painting of larger areas colour, camo, dirt, scuffs and smoke rather than writing my name on the head of a pin!) There is someone on Ebay trying to sell them in softback for £50 EACH! It gets on my wick when people try and force something to become a "Collectable" by artificially forcing up the prices. I know they were relatively expensive to buy new but.. 50 quid?! Especially when you can get second hand copies on Ebay for a tenner. There's even someone selling the first 12 nearly new for £110 buy-it-now and you could probably knock off a tenner with an offer. Now, if only I had a £100 spare.....

Splendid model. Makes me want to go and get mine out and build it. "(......and never let anyone accuse you of rushing a kit! A year? Ooooft! Patience!)........" I've been waiting to make mine for some time now - I think I bought it in about 1992........ahem. Its just so HUUUUUGE!
