    To be honest I never even noticed the side bins! The detail on the kit is enough to look at, filling them might just take away from the build.

    Thank you all for the kind comments. Yes the prop was a bit fiddly! I just dry fitted it to check roughly how it would all sit. Once I was happy I gave each prop a little touch of Tamiya Extra Thin then just positioned each blade so that they looked at a good angle.

    Thanks Stix, you kind comments mean a lot! Thank you! AM decals all the way! Thanks! I painted the beige band that goes round the rear fuselage, the decal for that was the worst one out of the lot. Maybe one day I will be brave enough to try painting the roundels. Cheers Adam!     This is recently completed Tamiya 1/48 Spitfire Mk.Vb. It is the first Spitfire in my collection and the first Tamiya aircraft kit that I have built. The kit was a pleasure to build with no flaws, just a quick tidy up of the seams. The kit decals we pretty average and the biggest lesson I have leant is to use AM decals with any Tamiya kits that I build in the future. Thank you for looking and feel free to comment of leave any questions that you may have.
