Very happy with this! I’ll be taking a few of these. Along with a good handful of the other releases also.
I think the pricing is very fair to be honest. People seem to want 2022 tooling & technology with 1970s pricing, it ain’t gonna happen!

Really great work! That’s some amount of aftermarket you threw at it, with an excellent end result. Oh how I miss the Harriers.

Very nice indeed👍
Got mine in the stash with the Mk3 conversion kit! You might have given me a shove to get it out😀
I was hanging on to mine, keeping it sat in the stash for a while. It was one of them ones that I didn’t want to start incase I made a pigs ear of it. I’m glad I finally did though, it was very enjoyable. -
Thanks for the comments!

Takom 1/35 - FV432 - Soltau Ranges, British Forces Germany
This is the first off the bench for me in 2021. The kit was great fun to build with its full interior and an excellent level of detail. It is all straight out the box with no extras (apart from the antennas). The scene is from Soltau Ranges in British Forces Germany. After a busy morning on the ranges the crew are queuing up at Wolfgangs for a hot fricky and a yellow handbag. If you know you know!
Thanks for looking and please feel free to leave any comments or questions you may have.

Great work on the model and the base is excellent, that grass is very convincing.

Thank you DAG058, very kind, it was very relaxing getting lost in painting this. Yes it was one of the £10 Home Bargains kits, what a bargain , the fit was great with only the Bomb bay doors with took a bit more work. I was able to paint the fuselage, wings and tailplane section as separate sub assemblies. Marvellous.
I also managed to pick one of them up at the time, I’m sure the one I’ve got is the other boxing though. I never really thought I’d get around to building it to be honest, at £10 though it seemed too good to walk away from. I’ll definitely be rethinking that one though after seeing yous, just goes to show you don’t need to spend masses to produce a stunner.

That is very striking! A lovely paint job on this one, great work with the brush. Is this one of the £10 Home Bargain kits?

@Mr T, all the beer has ultimately gone down the drain, but via my belly! I think maybe half a dozen I’ve not drunk as someone has brought me a top back from a far flung place.
My biggest challenge has been developing a technique for removing the caps without damaging them. I’ve perplexed a few bar staff over the years asking for a bottle of something and requesting to open the bottle myself and then faffing around with a piece of card and a bottle opener.
I was going to ask how you open them without damage! Great collection, fairly unique and it comes highly enjoyable by-product

Cracking shots! Super Stallions are mighty beasts, most people don't quite realise just how massive they are! The USMC chauffeured me around a hot and arid part of the planet many many times, I will always have a great admiration for them and their machines.

1st Bn Scots Guards and Scots Dragoon Guards are two different units. The Scots Dragoon Guards are a Cavalry Regiment and operated Challenger 2s up until their recent re-role to light-cav. Scots Guards are an armoured infantry regiment and operated the Bulldog (432 mk3). The bulldog was not involved in the invasion or early Telics though as it wasn't rolled out until 2006.
Shot & Captured has some great images of Scots DG if you can get your hands on one.

Really superb! I like the little diorama too, really finishes it off.

Smashing work! The kit can be a bit problematic but it looks like you have cracked it!

Really superb Dan, another cracker. That weathering is really top notch. And thanks for the WiP, always a pleasure to follow along step by step.

A very solid year from Airfix, probably their best yet for me personally.
You know what, I think I might even chuck the 72nd Phantom onto the pile, I don’t do small scale but that 43 Sqn scheme has sold it!
