Yes!! It They are very inspiring dioramas (the peter´s and foxi´s) Congratulations to the both!! Very sadly I have to say that I couldn't work on the Trafalgar day. Now I see and understand the point of the figures I a have in generally little experience on this hobby so sorry if I confuse a bit the things . I have been looking again in the N series the figures witch I need but I couldn't find them, the railway world has never interest me a lot so I have never had the chance to work on it. I don't understand much perhaps that is why I can;t find what I am looking for... Foxi could you please tell me about the from where exactly you got those figures?? I just want the kind of figures that the Hat kit have, but in my scale. My goal in the diorama is to represent the Victory sailing/leading the British fleet to the battle. PS: Patience is not one of my best virtues but I am going to ring her, that for me is key. So whatever the cost I will do it . But I don't know yet if the I am going to use the wire that the Airfix kit brings. Cheers

I now understand how the diorama that I put in the previous post was made and I also check the Presier figures as Martin said, I could not find the sailors I needed, so I will have to proceed with the hannants ones. Chris I like a lot the threat you link, and congratulations, it also gave me a lot ideas to my diorama... Now I have finished with the putty and add the stairs on the "upper gun deck" I now have to start the painting part. Again, thanks for the comments . Bye

Hello, since a lot I wanted to buil this ship and now I got the Airfix 1/180 one and I wanted to make a water diorama with it, I want to make something like this I just got problem, I have no idea how to make the underwater part It would be easier to not make it but I want to show the bottom of the ship. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO MAKE IT???? For the sailors I was thinking to use these https://www.hannants.co.uk/product/HAT8098there are not in the same scale but I put an old figure of 1/72 and it fitted well. What do you say??? Are other figures like this?? In the meanwhile I start the building I first made the "quarter" and "upper gun" deck they didn't fit well so I got to use some putty to fill some holes that I couldn't use (I needed 14 holes for the 14 pillars and I didn't even get more than 10 holes) Any answer or comment I will really appreciate it. Hello I have been working on this project since some time ago, actually I have a post http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234966277-172-dambusters-diorama/ where I start with this idea, now I have decided to keep with the project in this section because now I am going to start with the working. If you see the post you would see that I have already finish the personnel and I am starting with the control tower witch I have finished the assembling part and now I have to start with the painting, but before that I will like you to see some photos of the tower and as always any tip will be very usefull. in the top of the tower where the command is I have to paint but if I paint first the inside and then the outside, the inside will be mess up so I have decided to paste the interior with scotch tape for keep it steady and separate it to paint the inside, and once I have finish that I will paste for real, in the following image you can see what I did and then I realize that the kit didn't have the railing so I have to do it by myself with wire and now it is ready(at least the assembling part) Now I have to make the painting, the instructions ofers some painting but I didn't like it so I am painting it first with an imprimant and then I will make the campuflage with matt dark green and matt dark earth, later when I finish this I will post some images Cheers

Thank's that forum will be very usefull for me, because I have also seen some videos of how to built one and it is not difficult so am going to do it by myself, I hope it works I will continue with the bult in the wip section later I will send you the link.

Hello I am sorry that I haven't post lately, I didn't had enough time for that until a few days. Well I have finish the painting of the personnel, I tried to do my best but the figures were very little and it was very hard to add details but I managed to add the ensigns of the arms with some of the button's ( most of the ideas I toke it from the battle of britain movie were they show a lot the personnel and the arfield as well), now I am going to send you the photos with an extra thing that I have decided to add, that its the airfield control tower of airfix that I started building too, it includes a personnel of tree men that I haven't finish yet.

Hi, I mean that this applicator needs to convert the battery power to much more as I camn see in videos I saw about how this thing work so if I want made it by miself I will need this kind of transformator

Yes I have looked at it but I think that I will first try to make it by myself because it's very boring to wait for the shipping my problem is that it is a lot energy so I need a very good transformator so I'll se what I can do but the links are very usefull and interesting, for certain I'll use this applicator because the results are unconparable with the grass that it's sold in the shops this with some mud will give a lot of life besides I will add some truck marks. After that I haave to make the cement runway because scapton as far I can see in the imagees was grass and cement.

Hi, the bombs for the raid were tallboy's and for these bombs the doors were changed to some special ones were bigter and able to close the only bomb that was need to take the doors away was the grand slam In hannants the are selling a kit were the bomb, the doors and hang sistem with some pars of the bomb aiming.
