Loving the work so far. Looks like I'd better replace some of my old mould Vulcans (about 6) either that, or use them to make various Mk1's. I've got a few of the flightpath conversion sets... I wasn't impressed with the rear bullet fairing, I found it very undersized....

Hi there, I've found that Tamiya TS28 Olive Drab2 spray is an excellent approximation of British IIR Green. Another good match is Humbrol 86. It might look a bit light, but when you have painted the black on, they seem to match very nicely. I prefer the Humbrol 85 (Satin) black. It sprays on nicely and seems to react better to weathering and blending than the matt

I got attached to an armoured bde sig sqn for an exercise just after the corps Ptarmiganised. We got into a location to refuel our 439 and the detachment commander told me to get on top when they pulled up by the Stalwart to get some POL. When I asked the Sgt for some "diesel for me panzer", the tankies all laughter at me and then pelted me with compo tins!!!! He gave me some POL then told me to: "Get that %@£*%!^ tonka toy out of here!!!"

Hi C&WR, love the job that you are doing! How did you find the Castoff turret for shape? I thought it was abit off, so I made my own. But now, looking at yours, I'm not so sure!! Here are a couple of images of my turret, what do you think? Kind regards, Ian
