  1. can blow his whistle @Tzulscha 5 words. It's the penguins for you!
  2. Aerodynamically, it's a complete mess. Even in the far, far future, they'll still need to obey physics. The artist is a Romanian chap named Alex Ichim who works for video game studio Gameloft. (Incidentally, the bad designs are one reason I could never get into Thunderbirds. Heresy, I know.)
  3. I've been using a length of clear vinyl/pvc tube for my airbrushes for years. Couple of bucks a meter iirc. Note that it's the thick wall stuff, not aquarium tubing. The fittings have barbed ends, so they just push into the tube, and I use a cable tie to add a little extra pressure to make sure they stay in place. I can't say what the safe working pressure on my hose is, but I've never had an issue with either of my compressors (a small Passche and a larger 'proper' compressor). One benefit is that because it's clear, you can see when condensation starts to form, so you can avoid the dreaded water splats. This is an Australian retailer, but it'll give you the idea (this is rated to 36psi) https://www.bunnings.com.au/pope-6mm-x-5m-clear-vinyl-tubing_p3130561

  8. So they say. There are however, such things as ad blockers. The better browsers even have basic ones built-in.
  9. Hmm. So, what's the excuse for the Meteor and Sea Fury's short shot issues, the flow marks in the 72nd Lightning's canopy and probably others that slip what remains of my mind. All the named kits predate Covid, so that excuse won't wash. It's contempt for their customer base, that's all. India, like every industrialised modern nation, will work to any quality level that the customer wishes to pay for. Hornby simply don't want to pay for a high enough level. The number of people who are willing to forgive Airfix anything simply because they're Airfix is quite astounding, and it seems as if Hornby is aware of that. If the investment is that big (which it is), then surely adding just a bit more to the pot to make certain that you've got a quality product that encourages people to buy it is a reasonable expense? I would've thought so...
