Nice! While I'm not much of an armour builder, there's a few that catch my eye, and this'uns one of them. There's something about the Boarhound... I'd love a 1/35th kit in plastic.

And of course Nick Edwards Bentley Wheel kits from his UNOBTAINIUM website plus all the other goodies he is making.
I expect that Brian has long since finished the Bentley build he started this thread about?
Sadly, not currently available. The Bentley wheels are showing as Sold Out, and the engine is Coming Soon.

There's this
https://codenames.info/operation/gudgeon/
which only muddies the waters further, given that it refers to Lancaster raids on Milan.
I can find no mention of any other Gudgeon operations at all.
Odd.

So... if it's one little piece and a tiny hole, make the piece and drill the hole. Problem solved, and no need for resin.

I'd be looking at your local friendly hydraulic hose chap, or a B&Q, in the plumbing section. Brass or even copper water pipe will take the pressure that your compressor puts out, just get the correct external diameter.
When you go to fit the new bit, chamfer the ends with a file to make it easier to install.

For 1/72, forget about finely painted details. Block in the main colours, then use washes and drybrushing to add 'detail'. Don't try to detail eyes, a dark wash in the area will suffice. When you're out next time, have a look at how people 80' away appear, then try to replicate that look in scale.

can I add you to the list of participants
Better not to, as I've given up participating in GBs, and it wouldn't be fair to the other GBs to add my name when I have no intention of joining in. Thanks for the offer though.

I would like to build the Marder III Sd.Kfz.139 in a winter scheme, but the crew in the Tamiya kit are not really dressed for the occasion. Can anyone suggest a source for a suitably dressed crew?
Enzo, Dragon did #6016/6530 Self-Propelled Gun Crew, which may be of use. The second release was given a bit of an upgrade, and will probably be easier to find.

Depending on what you want, some modificarions may be in order.
Also, I'm pretty sure that I have a winter crew set that came as a bonus with a Dragon StuG III - it's in the deeper bit of the stash, but I'll look it out and let you know what I find. I cannot recall exactly what poses they're in.
Also, Miniart 35249, which may be more available than the olde Dragon.

You can add the Transavia Airtruk to the list, as well. Best known for its appearance in Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome.
Convair Model 48.
Sud-Oest SO.8000 Narwhal.
Adam A-700.
Hughes XF-11.

However there is no denying this generation looks sensational. Especially in flash colours like this Flame Orange. I'd have mine in Pearl St. James Red, Moroccan Blue, or Apple Green, thanks.
Taste's a funny thing, innit? I wouldn't throw a full teapot at it if it was on fire.

I personally have always had an issue with the phrase "fighter jet". I'll leave it there.
