  1. Quite possibly. I'm not the best person to ask I would just throw my toys out of the pram until replacements arrived. The Belfast, Beverley & Argosy cheat lines are to narrow.
  2. That's correct, the main issue is with the blue cheat lines. Looking at the couple I have remaining the cheat lines are all cracked.
  3. Martins decal sheets were not the worlds best and when I was distributing the range I kept quite a few spare sheets handy. I'm not sure what the situation is now. Chris
  4. Word to the wise. Check out the decal sheet when it arrives. Chris
  5. Brilliant posting thanks Tom. Beats waiting for Air Forces Monthly
  6. In the right place at the right time! Saw the Lynx flypast about 15:00hrs today. They came right overhead. Bonus
  7. Thanks Pete I was hoping for an African option. Now to look out for some further information
  8. Brilliant, I've had some Roman noses in my DB stash for a while now. Can anyone tell me who operated the C-130A apart from the USAF.
  9. Craig Perhaps an entry in the Wanted section might help. cheers Chris
  10. Eric might be an idea to tell the man where we meet. I don't know you just can't get the staff nowadays.
  11. There is also Earley Risers in the vicinity. hth cheers Chris
  12. Might be worth giving Didier a shout and asking if he'd supply just those parts. Thanks for that. Chris
  13. Very interesting thread this. Quick question, can anyone tell me how accurate the Viscount plans were in Aviation News Vol 7/14. Reason for the ask is I have a 1/72 Viscount model that seems to fit the Series 800 plans. The kit is resin and comprises a one piece fuselage and one piece wing and two off tailplanes which slot into fuselage. Four spinners are provided and that's the lot. "Kit" came to me at the Salisbury show and the seller said it was a travel agents model. cheers Chris
  14. Hi Jost You technically can't request this here for two reasons 1 There is a Wanted area for this posting. 2 You need a minimum 100 posts to use it. Chris
  15. Thanks for the link(I think) Homebee. I don't normally bother with the reviews, now I know why. Yes Tom my thought too. £80-85 seems more the mark. Not withstanding the shape or otherwise issues.
  16. Can't find a review on this but I see Hannants now have it in stock at £110 !!!!. Luckily I'm still in the 1/72nd scale world
  17. You can move on Mike, this chap died in 1978 so I wouldn't have thought he was still in production. Talking to oneself is the surest way to obtain the correct answers. No: I have some of these products, the C-130 sheets are more esoteric. Thanks
  18. Google is your friend!! Apparently this gentleman produced large scale metal aircraft recognition and display models in the late sixties through to the eighties . Not sure how well the decals will have stood the test of time.hmmm
  19. Can anyone in the Netherlands provide any info on this gentleman. I have a small quantity of decals for the C-130 (Peru. Columbia, Congo, Saudi Arabia etc). I can't remember where they came from and wondered if he was still producing any sheets. Thanks Chris
  20. Hi Tom colours are Grey Green (Humbrol 78,FS 34226): Black Green (Humbrol 91): Radome & dielectric panels are Dark Sea Grey (Humbrol 125,FS 36118). hth cheers Chris
  21. They appear to be doing the 1/48th range as kit 4814 the Sea Prince only made its debut after I ceased distributing the range, unless Martin had stocks in hand ready for the launch. I'm surprised to see the Wyvern conversion in AIM's boxing as this kit never sold. In fact I think I still have some of the Magna boxing in the store room.
  22. To late Giorgio, mine went at Middle Wallop last weekend
