  1. Probably something to do with supply & demand, alternatively it may be the profit margins expected from some outlets for carrying these cottage industry items.
  2. Wot!! only three, you cuttin back or somefing.
  3. Buy one of the New AZ 1/72nd scale kits, plant in compost in corner of garden and water heavily. And hope. Look for you next Saturday!
  4. There's actually an Almark sheet S10 on "that" auction site at the moment, unfortunately its coming from the colonies to the West of us and the postage is the same price as the sheet!!.
  5. Hi Just to clarify and possibly help out, Modeldecal sheet 117 was for South East Asia command roundels. Neither sheet 109 or 110, their two Gulf sheets had this a/c as an option. The only sheet I can see with this a/c on is the Almark sheet S10. hth cheers Chris
  6. One of the Czech traders in Hall 3 at last years Nats had several RVHP kits on their stall and from conversation I gathered they are producing again. Chris
  7. The Su-35 might be an option!!
  8. I've tucked it in the boxes of the one's I'm taking to Gloucester, but it won't be on the table
  9. Picked mine up at the club Monday, but haven't checked it out yet. The seller also had the new navalised Su-33, one for next month.
  10. Actually Mr Rom I cheated slightly on this. I had one in the stash and on the side it reads produced for Hannants by Vision Sword(Czech Republic). Course it could be 2+2 = 5.
  11. I thought Sword produced it for Hannants, but don't quote me on that.
  12. Interesting arguments here, lets hope someone at Airfix saw the Xtrakit 1/72 Scimitar going for £50+ on you know where last night. It certainly gave me an education.
  13. Thanks for the info Julien, I don't often call on the search function. Chris
  14. I thought this topic had come up before, but I couldn't locate it with the search function. In fact I thought I had done this posting under general discussion. cheers Chris
  15. One for the collective. Of all Tomcats on the market( 1/72nd scale), whose gets top vote. Fujimi, Hasegawa or A.N. other. thanks guys. Chris
  16. This is one of the last kits Martin produced number 9772, my last one went 2 months ago. However Neil Gaunt is now producing this conversion in his AIM range so a check on Hannants site should produce the goods.
  17. I should look more closely I thought this was a re-release of the Yumo G4 Super Galeb. I wonder where that mould went.?
  18. Hi Lee Which Paragon sets are we discussing? I've got two off 7229 which has the PR & bomber canopies and one off 7233 the NF XV conversion, though the canopy in that one has yellowed. Are you WHIF'ers at Modelkraft?. Chris
  19. Phil Note this kit has an engine nacelle missing. You would need to do a repro using one of the remaining three. hth cheers Chris Thinks! The Aviation Megastore might be the only source of a Belfast, I recall Radleigh obtained one from there.
  20. The decal for that scheme was marketed by Whirlybird decals under their Jumpjet logo and were available in 1/144,1/72 & 1/48 scales. They came out in 2009. hth cheers Chris
  21. Superscale 72-532 has lo-viz markings for VAQ-132. These are not commemorative marks though.
  22. I'm not sure what the Growler markings are, but the Prowler hi-viz carries the red scorpion on the tail.
  23. Had a quick look through the stash and the only one I can find is Microscale 72-225 which along with 72-226 seems to have most of the Prowler squadrons. hth Chris
  24. Not a patch on Farnborough where the pilot landed where it touched, at least he got one set of wheels on the runway. I believe the pilots now Aeroflots chief instructor.
  25. Not that I was aware of. The only other 1/72nd VC-10 was the one from Anigrand
