Dave if you get up to the ipms avon show at yate in august, for a pint of the local brew i'll trade you for a mint unused copy of SAM,august 82 complete with giveaway rhodesian decals. i've had a look through the odds & sods decal box i take to the shows,but the castles sheet i had seems to have gone,i'll have a look around to see if there are any odd bits lurking anywhere. cheers chris

hi dave just got off phone to robin at poole, decals still awaited,gather neil gaunt has sent the proofs to martin in spain,so waiting for go ahead,so hopefully product will appear in next 4-6 weeks.Arie's build looks great,the old adage about one appearing as soon as you scratch build one comes to mind.cheers chris

Hi Arie I've been sitting on Magna Models latest incarnation for the last two months,a conversion set based on the Academy B24 range to backdate it to the Liberator 1,it includes new wings,engine cowls,etc,there's a hold up on the decals,which I think include a greek option but I need to check on this when I get home. hth chris

With reference to asking Magna,they will be at the nationals next week and it should be martin himself on the stand this year.chris

First of all hi speedy nice to put a face to the name,we had a mini BM meet with speedy,jabba and myself,and chrismac60 lurking agonising over a six wheel tyrell.I thought the aew conversion looked pretty good and at £50 for the conversion plus the nimrod was good value,so if anyone wants one and your doing hinckley tomorrow check them out on the cammett stand.no i didnt treat myself to one i've got to many nimrods already. allthe best chris

Hi Magna make a resin fabric wing, it comes with a white metal Watts two blade propeller about £8, from Magna or Hannants, or catch me up at one of the model shows I carry the full range with me. cheers chris

Yes,closely checked out and it certainly looks an impressive piece of casting.I normally carry Magna stock at most of the shows during the course of the year, and finished up getting four from Robin on Sunday pm. I'm not sure how many Robin had left as he only started the show with just over thirty and it sold quite well all weekend. Apparently Magna(spain) is going to have to cast a new master before furher delivery's follow, so possibly in the new year. check ads in SAM/SAMI for contact details. HTH cheers chris
