  1. Yes, I have seen it on all the fighter versions. Not quite sure about the trainers (U/UMs), since there's not many pictures of its underside but I presume it would have it as well. Thank you!
  2. Thanks @Vultures1, @RidgeRunner, @PATRICK FROM THE SANDS and @GiampieroSilvestri.
  3. The Final Roar - December 11th 2013” Eduard 1/72 MiG-21FL Indian Air Force Kit: Eduard Stříbrné šípy (PF+PFM parts to make an FL) Paints: Tamiya Roundels: Brightspark Decals I have finally taken some pictures of this build. I finished it a few weeks ago, but got lazy to take pictures (I kept knocking something off while posing it). Here is the heavily weathered MiG-21FL during its final flight on December 11th 2013. The model is referenced by pictures, which can be found in the end of the slideshow... The reference pictures show heavy chipping on the roundel as well, this is something I did try, but after a few attempts settled with a perfect roundel….. This is my first 1/72 kit in almost 6 years, the engineering and detail is superb from Eduard. I will surely build another one from this release. I scratch built the AoA Vane on the port side of the nose. I really enjoyed this build and will surely build more 72nd scale aircraft now. 4. Excellent work!! great subject and execution.
  5. Now, only the Bisons (MiG-21-93 + upgrades) are, the older 21s, 23s and 27s have all been give their well deserved retirement...
  6. Amazing work there!! Air India 707-437s had the red engine mountings and -337(Combis) did not have it. However, later on the -437s had plain ones as well. So both options work for modelers building the airfix kit.
  7. Here are the completed pics of my weekend (extended to 2 months) build. Eduard’s lovely and delicate 1/144 MiG-21MF Indian Air Force Easy kit and great details Scratch built parts include pitot tube, antennas, fuselage and canon fins along with a few bits in and around the cockpit. 8. Thank you! Yes, that look is based on many of the MiG-21s in the IAF. They look extremely weathered.

  10. Thank you @Charles68, @Vultures1, @GiampieroSilvestri and @Dave Klaatu.
  11. My first model of 2023.....had an issue as the drop tanks kept falling off and ended up being misaligned as well as the MLG to some extent. Nonetheless, another MiG-21.
