  1. if the present level of detailing in the shown living room keeps up, this will be a thing to look at for days. Keep it up!
  2. I especially like the orange/red/silver one. Has a nice retro touch. Which kits are these?
  3. The 737-200 has a 2-piece trailing edge flap system. As you stated right, they aren't just going down, they rather go down and back, so there's a opening between the flap sections to prevent stall at high angles of attack.
  4. You chose a nice kit. The Revell Kit is really pleasing to build with nice fit and details. Is this scheme a fictional one by the game or does it actually exist?
  5. That looks terrific with the black paint and the red decals I assume it's 1/32?
  6. Very nice painting, I am always wondering how you guys get this done so well everytime! I am just curious about the color of the propeller. Do you have a pattern for the black one? Normally the blades were black-green.
  7. i simply use a cheap desk mat from a stationary shop. It comes in A2 for about 10€ (about 8 pound)
  8. Nice work. Do you plan to install a rotating bomb in it? Does this kit come with such one?
  9. I'm always surprised again and again on how long this thing is:D Good work!
  10. The bombs are mk83's, aren't they? What's the matter with the extensions at the bomb's tips? Never seen it before.... The camo looks very nice indeed with the blurred transistions.
  11. Really nice that you hit the high stressed areas at the root of the wings due to the sand in northern africa so well. There aren't many airplanes with desert camo which is a pity. So it's nice to see one here
  12. I retrieved some more information. There were both Versions: As far as i can see, the version you have built is either an early nightfighter (until '40) or a daytime camo at the eastfront ('42-'44). Anyways, your camo is correct The light blue version you mentioned was also used in the east because of the foggy sky. It was used at daytime or at night with a black bottom.
  13. Very nice nightfighter you built there. Especially the FUG 220 Liechtenstein is superior against the (rather wrong) Revell version. You hit the nightfighter camo really nice, but i'm wondering, are you sure about the color of the bottomside? I think this should be flat black (it is on the Junkers nightfighters, so i'm not quite sure).
  14. Very nice weathering of the engine section. The rivets look awesome aswell.
  15. As you said it is hand painted, can you tell me your procedure for this great looking paintjob?
  16. That's a proud pilot in front of his beautiful machine! An advice for next time: Try to spread the chipping more realistic...it seems a bit randomly i think. But in general the weathering looks really nice
  17. Try polishing the canopy with a nail file. There are some with multiple steps on every side (from forming till polishing). Just use the 2-3 finest steps and at the last step polish it with toothpaste and a soft sheet.
  18. I always liked this aircraft the most, nice work you do there. I have a little remark regarding the interior colors: It seems like you painted it black or anthracite, but the german aircrafts had a dark grey interior with dark olive seat cushion
  19. Thanks for your replies! I took some additional photos in a better lighting. Doesn't look as bad as in the first post A bad light and the makro zoom did its worst i think.... Here you go:
  20. Hello folks, i present you my first work here and at the same time my first model since a longer period. It's a F18-F twin seater from the Red Rippers squad. The model represents a configuration used for patrol flights over the middle east, when the Red Rippers had joined the USS Enterprise at the 5th fleet. It carries two additional fuel tanks, a MK83 bomb, an AGM 88 Harm anti radar missile aswell as two Sidewinders. Now let me get the facts straight: It is pretty dirty. That is because i made some mistakes due to mssing practise that i simply covered with a lot of dirt (it displays the situation when the jet came back to the carrier after a long flight through rain and so on.... ). Even though it has a decent look i think. Enough words now, here are the pics: I also need better light the next time^^ Greetings, Thomas Edit: The kit itself is from Revell. It's one of the newer kits and has great fitting. Didn't had to close any openings. Definitely recommended!
