  1. Overall a nice and clean looking build. But therefore it is 1/48, i'm missing the rivets on the gear bay covers and the exhaust panel. But that's a kit issue. I think you missed a wire, there were two from the canopy to the tail. Last i think you overdid the weathering on the rudder and ailerons (especially at the bottomside).
  2. They are all looking extraordinary well! I like the Bullfrog most, looks like some hard fighting there:) I don't have anything to critizise.
  3. The camo you chose was for nightfighting and was applied aftermarket and as fabric paint aswell. I often had the experience too, that if I struggled with the paint like you did, it came out very well like your model. So great work! The only little problem you have there are the decals which are silvering.
  4. smaller scales are always harder to build than the larger ones. In opposite to this there is the higher price of larger models. If you can afford it, i would start with a larger scale.
  5. that glossy finish looks superb. Any special tips for painting glossy with a brush (got a jaguar e-type here^^) ?
  6. comes out great, especially on that rather small scale for that model. Really clean work on the canopy. The round thing on the rotor top looks slighlty off center, just a photo issue?
  7. Little question on the side: If a ww2 plane (ju 88 especially) was driving a curve (on the ground), was just the rudder used or the ailerons too?

Since the Ju88 had an unlockable tail wheel, you could probably steer it with just the rudder and brakes.

Rudder and brakes I would have thought

thank you guys...it's always those little questions that are nowhere considered

  8. lovely scene there. Everything looks busy somehow. I especially like the bycicle guy:) The aircraft itself looks also great.
  9. definitely nice looking. Can the rear MG fired in flight or just for ground defending purposes?
  10. Really nice looking build! It's definitely on my future build list. Those extravagant swedish guys with their fighters are awesome.
  11. i always liked the way the asian forces decorate their aircraft. The european ones always look a bit clumsy i think. Nice work!
  12. i think it will be fine with some flat clear varnish. This stuff covers a lot of small mistakes.
  13. That's a nice looking chopper. The weathering is on point, looks really realistic. Only your decals are silvering a bit.
  14. nice color, fits nice to your table color, nearly overseen them;) The sidewinders on top of the wings look really dangerous.
  15. thanks for your replies. I will also try a foil in different colors is think.
  16. Hey folks, i was asking myself if it is practicable to use foils for "varnish" purposes? Since i am struggeling with smooth surfaces at vehicles (as i don't own an airbrush), this idea came to my mind. Is there anyone who has experience with foils at models? If not, i would also be happy to get some general feedback.
  17. If you are looking for a challenge: Try to build a 1/144 Revell Fighter Kit with closed gear doors-.-

  18. Nice so far. I think you could apply some light weathering to the seatbelts aswell, they look some kind of to clean for the rest of the cockpit imo.
  19. here in Germany even the trees and the flowers grow alot greener on this day!

The best team won for sure. Suspect there were a lot of hangovers in Germany today...

  20. I especially like your wood look on the propeller and the gear. Looks very realistic!
  21. Haha i didn't knew Lego was 1/48 scale. They seem to do a good job. Also nice to see that a woman is in charge;)
  22. Nice build. I especially like winch. Often used in reality but rarely seen here. The nose came out perfect, can not be seen that it is scratchbuild. But what happened to the door window area? Looks a bit crushed.
  23. Great looking! Did you use wash or pigment for the smoketrail from the gun?
