  1. Thanks Guys Next USAF aircraft...EC-135 Wright-Patterson AFB 1976/79 Bill
  2. Greetings Just for reference the date stamped in this fuselage was 1959..Golden Oldie. Black Box Resin Interior and some opening of the front canopy. Used a Resin engine for a T-28B but you can't see it. Kit Decals, except national Insignia...Decals were terrible, way too old . Testors Aircraft Grey enamel. I used Metal landing gear(kits was toylike) I believe it is a little tall, but I like the look . Sanded the giant rivets off and scabbed a few panel lines. Thanks for taking a look Comments are always welcome Cheers Bill D.

  6. It has been a good year and I wanted a simple build to finish off. 1/72nd Monogram F-104C. Super kit. Well engineered with very good surface details and easy build. Aftermarket decals and Alclad Finish Need Solvaset and used a Hairdryer on the larger decals as the panel lines were not that deep. I did use an Aftermarket Exhaust pipe to enhance the area. Used Uschi Powders for the metallic exhaust. Used Alclad Aqua Clear over the Metallic Finish and Gunze GX-100 on the painted surfaces. Thanks for Looking Comments Always welcome Cheers Bill D.
  7. Thank You all for the Very Positive feedback Cheers Bill
  8. Thank You all for Positive feedback. I understand the wires vibrated so much they created a massive amount of Noise. Not really positive ,but what I found somewhere. Cheers Bill
  9. Karaya Resin model was a bit of a challenge. Polish Kosciuszko Squadron aircraft flown by Maj. Fauntleroy in 1920. Used Gunze paints and Aviattic wood grain decals. Alclad for engine cover. Used a few items for Rigging and Braces. Uschi Line, Ceramic wire, Steel wire and Albion Alloys Interwing Strut bracing wires on actual aircraft were covered and I tried to duplicate this( Not 100% satisfied). Received a custom made base for displaying my Kosciuszko aircraft and loved the base made by "Bases by Bill". Thanks for Looking Comments Always Welcome Cheers Bill D.
  10. Thank you all very much for the kind words. This Squadron is a passion of mine and I am quite happy for the Albatross results. Working on a Resin Karaya Ansaldo Ballia and she is quite a challenge. Thanks Again Cheers Bill

  12. Completed Today 2 December. This is a replacement Aircraft for model Donated to the NEAM in Hartford Conneticut. They have a great Kosciuszko Display 1/48 Eduard Profipack with minor modifications to create correct Polish Version. Decals are from ModelMaker in Poland(they were fantastic). Painted with Gunze paints and Sworl Decals are from Aviattic (they were a pleasure to apply). Rigging is a mix of materials. Uschi line for support wires,Ceramic wire for Control rods and front Braces. Also used Bobs Buckles from England for connection points(great products and service). Final Coating is GX100 Clear and I am Happy with the Gloss look of the Model Thanks for Looking and Comments are always welcome Cheers Bill

  15. This was a Pleasure kit to build. Great Detail,Nice engineering,Super Decals. My first Usage of my iPhone 12 mini camera....Let me know your opinions Please. Completely out of box except usage of Wine bottle sealing material for seatbelts. Painted with Vallejo Israeli Box of Paints , Gloss Coated with GX-100 and Flat coated with decanted Mr Hobby Matt. Uschi powders used on exhaust(which then disappeared into fuselage) Great Kit Thanks for looking Comments Welcome Cheers Bill
  16. Greetings Thanks for all the feedback guys. Fun Project and I am happy with the end result. The Revel kit has some strange design issues but she looks like a Spitfire. I appreciate some of the detail feedback and I may take look at some updates. Cheers All Bill
  17. Greetings Just finished a 1/144 Jet and thought I would give my eyes a break. his was a fun build and I did make a few of the suggested corrections. Barracuda Resin for the underside radiators. Eduard Photo etch Interior items( Just to lazy to paint the Instrument panel. Miliput Seat back cushion. Brass wire inserted into main gear where the upper and center section joined..(Not the best engineering design in my Opinion). Still a very economical build. Uschi Line for IFF antennas no line for upper radio..I think this is correct for Mk IIa in 1941. This aircraft represents Spitfire flown by Witold Urbanowicz in April of 1941. I am a huge "Kościuszko" Squadron fan and this is a good representative of that squadron. This was the 303 Sq during WW II in Britain. I used Gunze colors for paint and Mr Hobby GX 100 clear coat for decal surface and Testors Dullcoat for final finish. The markings are a combination of kit national markings, which were fantastic, and Kagaro letters and Kościuszko emblem from the "Battle of Britain" photo pamphlet. I really can't say enough about how nice the kit decals performed. Fun Build Thanks for Looking Comments always welcome Bill
  18. Thank You all for the positive feedback. This Squadron is a passion of mine and I have loved the story and the actions of the Polish Air Force. Cheers Bill

  20. I have Just completed My last Aircraft Honoring the Kosciuszko Squadron Flyers. This was the 1/48 Eduard/Academy Mig-29 UB in Polish Markings I need to thank Polish AF US Liaison Budniak Karol for all his support in correct colors of Mig-29. The decals are from ModelMaker ,a Polish decal company and they were fantastic. Below are two Aircraft with 100 years of separation tied in by the pilot, American Major Cedric Fauntleroy. The Albatross is the markings of Major Fauntleroy in 1920 and the 2020 Mig-29 has the pilots image on the inside of the the tails. Both aircraft sport the Kosciuszko Squadron Emblem designed by an American flier Elliot Chess during the Polish/Bolshevik conflict in 1920. Major Fauntleroy was the Kosciuszko Squadron commander during the conflict. I was trying complete the Mig-29 in 2020 but I did not receive the decals until December. I added the Eduard F.O.D covers just to add a Little color. The kit was loaded with Photo-etched parts,Resin seats and I added Resin Exhaust set. Notice the two different photos in the tail area, one in flying gear and one formal uniform. Thanks for Looking Comments are always welcome Regards Bill
