  1. Beautiful and very convincing. Did you apply the hull 'raised' plating yourself? If so, did you use brass plate for that? I'm about to make a similar decision for my Dreadnought hull so I'm very curious.
  2. As regards the kicker, I've experienced that it makes the plastic brittle and weak so indeed it's not a good idea to use it directly from the spray can. What I have done is very simple yet effective: 1) Spray the contents of your accelerator in a clean jar. 2) Use a photoetched applicator* to pick up the accelerator and apply it onto the glue. It'll turn yellow and the accelerator won't affect the plastic. Also, as an alternative to super glue, have a try at Gator's Grip acrylic hobby glue. It's good stuff. * For example 'the glue looper', it works excellent. Can be easily cleaned from glue by heating it with a lighter.
  3. This is simply an astonishing build. If any w/swastika-pictures are available, feel free to grant us the joy and inspiration to admire them also.
  4. It is a very nice kit indeed, and the engine is an impressive piece even without add-ons.
  5. Thought I'd share some pictures of my Krupp Titan build's status quo. Wiring and piping, decals and a few things more were scratched. The engine is a fast CA-glue-fit (later on I'll explain why) and will be completely refitted later. The chassis was extended twice, about 2 inch total. One example:
  6. What an incredible spectacle.... simply stunning. Both scratchbuilt ships seem to have been built according to the same towering quality as the carrier.
