  1. Just found another which shows the device more clearly....... https://www.planepictures.net/v3/show_en.php?id=298419 T.
  2. I found these on BM CC .......... And these two links on the general net......... https://thegreatcanadianmodelbuilderswebpage.blogspot.com/2013/09/hawker-sea-fury-mk-t-20-target-tug-2.html https://www.planepictures.net/v3/show.php?id=299076 And this one on Flickr In some you can make out what might be the towing device?? Unfortunately I have nothing specific on this, as my favourite area is more in Target Drones and Drone support aircraft, rather than target tugs. Google is your friend!!! T.
  3. Love the subtlety of the yellow paint achieved through preshaping Johnny, and my .............. what big wheel hubs you have! T.
  4. Likewise Bill, good vibes coming across from here 🀞🀞🀞🀞 Terry
  5. A bit like a weekend in Norwich then ........... A very good one Bill! T.
  6. May have something in the stash for this one ................. πŸ€” Better add me to the list Martin! T
  7. Hmmm, well as long as no sheep were harmed in the process ..........! Looking good Bill, keep going!! T.
  8. Thanks. I don't see many for sale at the moment, so having one in the stash could be an investment! Thanks. The tracks were indeed a scary prospect, but by following the instructions to the letter and very carefully, things came out ok. Other manufacturers should look at providing tracks like that in this scale. Terry
  9. Nice looking subject Martin. I'm assuming from the monochrome pics, and the fact that these were on detachment to Iceland back in the early 50's, these have some high vis red markings? Should look pretty good on an F-51! Terry
  10. Just found this thread Matt. What a giant this one is, 1/144 scale 747's are big enough for me, although I must confess one of the few purchases I made at Telford last November, was a 1/72 conversion kit for a Boeing RC-135V/W Rivet Joint, which will require an appropriate 1/72 C-135. I keep relatively quiet about the 1/32 Lancaster that came into my possession last September 🫒 Big planes are in my future somewhere, so I'd better keep an eye on this one! Good luck! Terry
  11. Any old drones accepted, as long as they relate to Target training!! The Telford Target SIG table can take good few more so keep me posted. That QF-104A would be most welcome. Cheers Terry
  12. Sobering reading Ralph. Much respect to you and your colleagues for the job you all did back in the day. T.
  13. With a hull that size, and without any other forms of additional rigidity added, glueing the lower hull in place seems like a good move. Great to see some serious progress on this one. T.
  14. I looked that one up, could be good, it's a Scimitar II, so has the slightly bulkier and higher hull profile. I like the look of that one, but perhaps we should all build what we have first!! Terry
  15. Thanks Martin. It's not a bad kit really. Did you acquire the one you've been watching? Terry
  16. Another awesome update. Those CAD drawings are a source of reference for other Wasp modellers in their own right. Fantastic stuff. Best detail I've yet seen on Mk 44 and Mk 46 Torpedoes too. As for the pic of that wee Wasp carrying a WE-177. I do wonder whether the poor aircrew (probably just the pilot with all that other weight) really stood a chance if they had to "drop" one of those for real. Can hardly imagine a Wasp exiting the area fast πŸ˜“ Terry
  17. Brilliant work Bill, and with this involved........... ..........we are in for a treat! I'd wondered when we were going to see the good old six incher out again. T.
  18. Like the others have said Bill, really sorry to hear the latest setbacks on all fronts, but your positive outlook is such a hugely important way of dealing with this stuff. As for further white paint on the Victor, go for that when time allows! We are all here and rooting. Terry
  19. More great stuff Ian, especially like that sump, and I can just make out the drain plug. I'm assuming the flats on that nut are imperial for a car of this age T.
  20. Wow, lots going on again Johnny. I do like the look of this one....... I'm under some pressure to acquire and build something similar for the a couple of the grandchildren. I think I'd enjoy that actually, fully R/C of course. Nice start on the paintwork, on the body of the van. Terry
  21. If you mean this........... Not really sure, but my guess would be some sort of cradle/stretcher/seat, but it looks a bit heavyweight for that? Ralph @Chewbacca or Crisp @Ex-FAAWAFU might be able to help I did find this online also, but may be a bit speculative ......
  22. Very interesting idea Bill. I'm sure you are aware, but in case not, that picture is shown much enlarged here: https://www.shipsnostalgia.com/media/broadsword-lynx.340396/ Bit of a mess really, but things could have been so much worse! And there is a nice picture here of same airframe, long after the event, so that we have the "Happily Ever After" bit! https://abpic.co.uk/pictures/view/1061318 T.
