  1. The pitot looks great. I did that recently, partly due to me moving from old shared hobby room to new dedicated space, and it made me feel very good! T.
  2. Aha, third in, so a decent seat. This one will be good! If Alan is on Traquair Ale, I'd better have a Newcastle Brown! Saw your email Bill, all good. It's always there if you want it as it is part of my "must go, but only to a deserving home, so in no hurry" part of the stash! T
  3. This is excellent stuff on the H Duncan. Thank you for posting. I'm also intrigued by your other thread on the new Clear Prop 1/48 F-86A, with potential for other marks .................. will we ever get a decent H do you think? 🤞 Terry
  4. This one is going to be an absolute stunner Stuart. Colourful, unusual design and its rigged!! Well this build is not showing that at all. My own mojo is at an all time low at the moment, almost non existent, partly due to an old back injury that is plaguing me currently and I'm finding any time at the bench isn't good for it. Lots of walking is helping though. Anyway, can't wait to see this one done. T.
  5. This feels like one of those tumbleweed moments .............. just saying! Actually, I've not done any modelling myself for around 3 months. It's so damp down here in deepest Dorset..... T
  6. The Sea Harrier is looking good Bill. Very nice work on those intakes. As @Brandy says, good luck on observing the eclipse, and I would say you should kick him back east ASAP given the effect his presence has so far had on the US Eastern Seaboard! Only kidding Ian! 😁 T
  7. Great to see a build of this aircraft Giorgo. When I read your comments that the AMX had just been retired from service, I felt very surprised and very disappointed that I had not given this aircraft the attention, it must surely have deserved (over time) as a NATO participant. So to put things right, I'll follow this build if I may. Terry
  8. I completely agree. .... and that looks like a tool I should have! T.
  9. Some great work happening Giorgio. I especially like those wheel bays. The whole airframe is looking good .......... very Corsair like!! T.
  10. That's come out a treat James, lovely job. T.
  11. I agree Bill, and I thought you might want a bit of an explore! T
  12. Another unusual, but attractive bird from you Stuart and looking good so far. That's a fair width wing span by the look of it, maybe a foot or more? T.
  13. Those figures have come up pretty good and will certainly bring the tank to life a bit. Looking forward to seeing this one come along. I do like a 1/35 AFV! T.
  14. Great update Ian. She's coming along fine indeed. Enjoy your US trip! T.
  15. This is beautiful work James. I seem to recall the desert scheme was one of the first I ever applied to an old FROG 110 many years ago, way before you were born I reckon! Might we see this at the next SMW? Terry
  16. Wow! As you say Adam, camouflage on a glider looks a bit out of place, but it has indeed come out looking great. Must get back to my own glider thread at some point. The break in proceedings has been caused by some disruptive building work at home which is just about complete now, so just need to get motivated....... I'm scheduled to have a glider flight myself in about a weeks time, in the form of a gift from a friend. Aero tow to 4,000 feet for release, and a quick run along the Jurassic coast near where I live. it's been re-scheduled a couple of times due to weather conditions being less than ideal. Let's hope it happens this time. That will be a first glider flight for me after very many years, so really looking forward to it! Terry
  17. I tend to agree. I built one of these for a grandson a couple of years ago. Would you believe I finished it in two days, along with a MIG-17 as well!!!! Definitely with the Sabre on its tail, can't have talk of it the other way round. Mind you, if you ever do a RN Sea Fury, you can confidently stick that right behind the MIG, guns blazing! https://www.aces-high.com/media/view/sea-fury T.
  18. Back to jets again eh, and a nice start with this one. That cockpit looks the biz. Are you sure your not knocking up a 1/48 version on the side just for the WIP pics! Terry
