About Me
I started modelling at a very young age, maybe 7 or 8 with help from older relatives. Became a serious modeller in my teens and then somewhere in my late 20's life got in the way in the form of 6 years in the MOD, and far too many years to count in IT in the Finance sector. I did dabble a little now and then, until in my late 50's I started back and am now seriously hooked again. I will build almost anything but main focus is 1/72 aircraft from my youth era, 60's, 70's and 80's as well as similar subjects in 1/48 and 1/144 scale, and scale Warships in 1/700, 1/350 and 1/72. I have also dabbled in 1/35 and 1/72 scale AFV's. A past passion for finescale railway modelling has also come back into my life recently (2020/21), and several etched brass and white metal locomotive models are now in progress!
My stash has grown in recent years to the point that I probably can't possibly build them all, but who knows, and the stash is part of the fun!
