Many moons ago there was an article in Scale Models (I think) on creating a Swift from an upside-down Hasegawa F9F - brilliance!

I have one of these, I was already minded to enter it in the Project Cancelled GB if it was considered eligible. It's been permitted and your model is suitable inspiration.

If I remember, don't build the engines, they don't fit into the nacelles, just use the compresser faces, that's all you can see anyway, and dill and pin the 'wings'.

Lovely looking models.
I lost the nose probe on my FD2, and I agree about the masks.
