Nice! Here's a video you might like: -
I built this kit (with the camo decals) a while back and was very impressed all around. You've done a great job with yours!

What Andres said 👆🏻. Getting the color to look right on an F-35 is always challenging. How did you do it?
-
I’m looking forward to seeing this built. I did the Fujimi kit s few years ago, it was nice but this one puts it to shame!

I've been curious about this kit as well. Sword can sometimes be hit-or-miss. This one looks to be a hit. -

You’re making quick work of this kit! Meanwhile, I’m crawling along with Trumpeter’s 1/32 F-105 🐢 -

Very nicely done! I had the pleasure of being a rider on HMS Churchill, when she was on the US West Coast being outfitted with Harpoons. -
Your Claude is gorgeous, worlds better than the one I built!

Not if the ‘cannon’ are directed energy weapons! ⚡️ -
Just a quick side-project while waiting on parts for a big aircraft project I recently started (Trumpeter's 1/32 F-105D Thunderchief). A typical short-run kit -- Fit varied from fair to terrible! Definitely not for the faint of heart, and not my best work by a long shot 🤣 Here are the pics: In case you're wondering the cannon are leftovers from my Razor Crest build (for which I used Green Strawberry's resin replacements). I felt the AMP kit had something missing, and these seemed to fill the void nicely. You can see my Razor Crest here: Thanks for looking!

1/48 Eduard F-15C - 65AGRS - In-flight and lit up.
billn53 replied to Richie B's topic in Work in Progress - Aircraft
Good work with the lights! Especially the part about using colored LEDs instead of white ones. Many ‘lit up’ models I’ve seen have overly-bright, out-of-scale lights. That’s one reason why I like to use fiber-optic lines for my lights.- 13 replies

Very, very nice! One question, though — All photos I recall seeing had invasion stripes on the upper wing surfaces. Your’s doesn’t. What’s the story behind that? -
Very nicely done!

The “accessory parts” (missiles and fuel tanks) look great, but your gear covers are unbelievable! So much tiny PE assembled so precisely!

Erwin @VT Red Sox Fan and John @Biggles87 , I’m happy to hear you’ve had good results with the correction fluid method. I don’t recall where I first heard of it but have made a point of passing it along to others whenever I can. I’m in Northern California this week for business and next week begins final exams at the University, so my big Thud project is on hiatus for a while. When I resume, I’ll probably pick up with the landing gear, pylons and armament, while waiting to see if the Reskit intakes are released soon.
