  1. Crikey - that's a superb stage by stage tutorial - looking forward to much much more from you there
  2. a superb and well built model - top marks to you - beyond my capabilities in that scale
  3. How did I miss this superb build. Probably the best 1144 747 kit I have ever seen built - (IMHO) - such a shame the SP fuselage is not available as a cheap and standard option for us civie builders. tip top - I just love this model of yours
  4. Nice work there with the model. One day I need to get on and build mine but like yours, mine is badly twisted and warped from the moulding process. I like your choice of livery too - top marks. I just don't get why Airbus chose to design and build such an ugly duckling of a plane (nose end) when they were in direct competition with Boeing and the 787. Forget the noise reduction factors, passenger capability, range, fuel consumption etc of the A350 vs the 787 - its a bloomin ugly bird and something I just can't get excited about.
  5. looks very good - nice aluminium and bare metal work effects there. Your model reflects the age of the aircraft well. Find me a civil aircraft modeller that has not had a flight deck decal fit issue....because they don't exist so don't beat yourself up about it.
  6. I just love a well made civil build - well done - looks just great. And I like the idea of the red tinted flightdeck glazing decal
  7. first build in 30 years ??? - nope, I don't believe you - it looks smashing.
  8. Never a Victory too many... looks stunning - such fine work and a big wow to the rigging
  9. I shall enjoy watching your builds here Eric John L
  10. according to the date stamp on the tin, its 9 years out of date! LOOKS BLOOMING AMAZING - SUPERB IDEA - TOP MARKS
  11. Amazing model - she looks beautiful. thanks for the covering information too, saves having to haul through the internet.
  12. looks superb. Having already got myself to the final stages of building Trumpeters 1/200 Titanic, I can safely confirm you are presently building a far easier and less stress of a model...
  13. Absolutely mind blowingly stunning - and the perfect reason for me never to ever attempt building my own kit of the same when you can do a museum quality job of it instead. Quite stunning.
  14. good luck with the build - it will be good to see this old kit assembled.
  15. lovely - I do so love historical ship models. Years ago I built Emhars Gokstad with a crew and loved every bit of the challenge. Your model is quite splendid
  16. A very nice model - makes me want to re-watch the film
  17. superb model - gets my approval with a 10 out of 10
  18. very good, and your figure has good reading taste too!
  19. very nice model - I can see and appreciate all the hard work you have put into such a nice and delicate paint job there
  20. How superb. I stepped onto Hurtigruten's MS Nordnorge about a year ago and travelled from Bergen to Kirkeness and back for 12 days - the best days at Sea I have ever had. It is brilliant to see a built model of one of the Hurtigruten fleet. Top marks, I hope your parents like it.
  21. probably the best Diorama I have ever enjoyed looking at online - those broken tree stumps really are stunning. What a fantastic piece of work - far far beyond my abilities
  22. wow - my all time favourite TV series space craft - I love it. I built one of these many years back from a resin kit (can't remember whose it was) but it was about 1.5ft long and a real fiddle to assemble. I love the colouring, shading and finish - studio quality for sure
  23. Very nice work there Mr P, and up to your usual standards of course
