    Looking at your hatch colour, its fine. There are plenty of pictures around in colour of the inside of tigers, and off white is the standard interior colour german armour

    I found that if you use a wide flat brush, have a mix of 1 part paint to 10 parts water brush on and then use a hair drier to evaporate the water, then go over it again and repeat was many times and you want till it looks right for you.

    Having taken on board about the Tank looking to shiny, I have had it driven around the desert for a few days. I think it looks much better now.

    The shine is a bit much, but only appears in the pics not so much in the flesh so to speak. the Tracks are the one out of the kit.

    Indeed the solid barrel is a bit if an issue, however was model is them there 1st run on this kit. It could almost be classed as Vintage now.

    Academy Kit M3 Stuart "Honey" I got at the last Tankfest at Bovington Tank Museum out of a model club bargin bin, all had been started, well wheels glued together. £ 5.00 paid for this kit.

    I did think that too when i started this part of the model, maybe it's just our modern view to H&S that gives us this worry. However after finding plenty of pictures it seems that as long as the 2 blow pipes are free from obstruction it was deemed a fair location for stowage.
