  1. Trying this set of wheels..... It will not fit within the wheel well and may stick out a bit. A curious on looker...... Not sure I will use those single seats and might just move the back seats to the front Oh o. I think someone is in love hence the constant lingering Thanks for viewing.
  2. While my guys where on break..... Coming back to the horror that I did.... sacré bleu! This is sacrilege!....according to my guys! Parts for those who are interested in purchasing this beauty. Thanks for viewing!
  3. Hi all! I decided to start posting a simultainus build that I started to keep my motivation and drive going. I apologize in advance to anyone I offend and to the purist. I plan to build this kit in 2 stages. I am still toying with the idea of which tires to use, what colour to paint the kit and which Decals I will be detailing this kit with. Changes will be happening as the build progresses. Enjoy and thanks for viewing! I hope they keep their enthusiasm going all through out.
  4. Since this will take time, I decided to post simutanious builds which I am trying now to keep me moving and motivated. It is unusual since I like starting and finishing something before moving on but this make take a while. More to come....
  5. Sadly, they are running the show, not me. They work when they want to and boss me around. I am the victim here : ( Thanks Shaun! Thanks Phil! Thanks! They are quite lazy at times but not more than me. : ) Thanks Pete! I'm quite slow but I am enjoying this build and can't wait to finish it so I can put a stop to finding new ways to tweek it.
  6. Very Beautiful. You really know how to build them and take amazing shots of them.
  7. First of all, I apologize to those who were following this Build. After having some warping issues and my asthma kicking in to high gear, I lost my mojo and decided to set aside all builds instead of starting a new one. Last post was in May and since then I found it easier to watch all your builds and discussions rather than rectify my kit. I promise to contribute my share even if I have to start a new kit when I am stuck or having a long wait for parts ordered. If my asthma kicks in again then I'll find a way around it. I have till Dec. 11 till i'm off for the holidays then I'm back Mid Jan. This is where I left off: A little warping left after much adjustments. I didn't know that the tamiya putty would shrink as much as it did and given the section it was applied to, it bent and bowed like the letter U. This after much on it. Setting the pieces befor the right door frame is glued And a little painting work done on the chasis... Thanks for viewing! Gobs
  8. Sorry I think I am a little lost. Did we loose a member? I hope not! I don't mind the silent watchers but to loose a member, that is quite sad. Among the car model forums, this is the least critical, most positive and quite active. The prevoius forum i was in was shut down cause members started dropping off and others where either just PM-ing and facebook-ing. I have to admit, it was quite heartening when Plastheniker decided to leave BM. I miss that guy! I love this forum and love how it all comes together. I promise to do my fair share, get my mojo back and start posting WIP again.
  9. What a transformation. Thanks for the warning about this kit. This was on my list to buy but it will take quite a while for me to get to speed in skill to transform this kit even remotely close to what you have done. by the way, those wheels are sexy. Excited to see them on as Porsches are my favourite cars.
  10. Whoa! Old post but missed it. Thanks to you guys, I got to see it. As mentioned above, great work and very nice photo setup. I learn something new everyday.
  11. Sexy! love the paint job. Thanks for sharing your paint type. I found out today at our IMPS nationals that some of the modellers were using nail polish thinned 1:1 up to as needed and then they coated the cars with automotive polyurethanethe a week after curing. The finsih was amazing like this.
  12. Thank you to Roy, you and many others who make the effort in posting your big builds. I know you all could be building behind the scenes but the effort you all put into sharing your builds in here is not only entertaining but very educational and truely inspiring. I guess I shouldn't say that I will never dive into a big build as there are really some beautiful ones that are quite reasonable but at the moment, for me, it is not a priority. Although I was wondering if it is a buyers market or a sellers market for big builds at this point for investment purposes. Gobs P.S. - I am still in love with the Bugatti I saw
  13. A lot of new car kits now days rarely have beautiful box art (IMHO) regardless of the brand.
