I've been modelling on and off from the age of eight. I started with airfix kits, building WWII aircraft and helped my dad scratch build a model railway. At the age of about eleven, I start painting citadel miniatures and kept going till about the age of eighteen. For the next twenty years I didn't do much modelling, occasionally I would build a plastic kit. I did a bit of RC aeromodelling with balsa and tissue paper for a while in my twenties. Then I started painting a few minis again to pimp out boardgames. I bought a few plastic kits off ebay a few years ago. I made a Tamiya 1:35 Panzer II Ausf F and painted that. I built a Tamiya 1:35 Panther Ausf A, undercoated it, but I swore I wouldn't paint it till a bought an airbrush. Three years past then my lovely wife bought me a cheap airbrush and compressor set for my birthday in January 2014. I bought a slightly more expensive Iwata Neo CN to compliment the cheap chinese airbrushes which came with the compressor.
So that brings me here, complete with a very small stash of 1:35 German AFVs and a desire to learn a little more than the basics!
I'm also a keen photographer and will take the opportunity to practice that as well!
