  1. Hi all, Well rather than start individual threads for the U-boat fest thought I would keep them all combined, Just finished building the Hobbyboss 1/350 Type VII C. Less than a day to build wow! And beside its bigger cousin, I will hopefully get some paint on them tomorrow, Thanks for looking!
  2. Hi all, Well the U-boat fest continues, with the start of the WW2 U-Boats in 1/350. I started this a couple of days ago, now ready for paint! The kit is great and the PE thats included is just enough to make it look really good in my view! I was considering buying some flyhak weapon sets, but as the kit parts are excellent I decided against the expense, more money for models! Regards Justin
  3. Absolutely fantastic, the interior is just stunning Kev! Impressive to say the least. I thoroughly enjoyed following the build log. Justin
  4. Fantastic, I couldn't bear to build the one I had so gave it to my dad, damn wish I hadn't now! The finish is superb, brush painted, wow!
  5. Good afternoon Well here is my first U-Boat, only extras were scratch built ladders and handrail posts. Thanks for looking, Justin
  6. Well she is now complete, Was having too much fun to take progress shots! More in the RFI section soon! Thanks for looking!
  7. Looks a fantastic kit! A veritable plethora of PE to boot!
  8. Wow, I was considering building this before I started the DVII, the camo looks fun! Cant wait to see it all together!
  9. Hi all, We'll as I build mostly WW1 aircraft thought I better join. Don't know what yet. On a side note I will be away from the end of May until the start of October with work, so I will be an late starter! Justin
  10. Hi folks, Well another WWI aircraft from Revell, I have another six Revell ones in the Stash after this still to go! Just ordered some Pegasus models and can't wait tip they arrive, may just break up the Revell build marathon! The Box; The Sprues; The Decals, I forgot about these! No bloody way I am attempting to paint the lozenge pattern! So have ordered some microscale lozenge decals, phew! A start, and the new Eduard seat ready, The prop is drying too but I managed to get a very blurry pic! Regards Justin
  11. I followed the instructions, I think mine looks a bit weird as I pushed the wheels on fully, though the covers don't have a hole all the way through, just a partial locating hole. I should have pushed the wheels back out to to match up flush with the wheel covers so they sat right! I will keep that in mind for my next build which has wheel covers. As for the differences in the kits, looking at all the pics and the reference material I sourced, it looks like there should be two sets of wheel covers for inside and out!
  12. Sorry, I think I may be missing something Robin?
  13. Thanks Winenut, For the rigging I use this stuff. All I do is run a length under a sharpie to make it black. Plus it has some stretch and strength so is quite forgiving.
  14. Wow, I loved the reboot series, I don't know if this will be as good. But we will see I suppose.
  15. Fantastic! Great setup, the pilot looks ace!
  16. Def not mine ! But the wife has long hair mmmmmmm.................
  17. Looks great Matt, how much did it cost if you don't mind me asking?
  18. Cheers Patrick, I have a Revell one in the stash. It will be a while before I attempt that, I strangely enjoy the rigging, but I would like to keep some of my hair for longer!
