  5. Looking good so far, I have also considered paper/card models, they are cheaper (well some are) but I think I am addicted to plastic! Must be the glue………..

  10. That's looking awesome, They Huey my favourite hello of all time closely followed by the chinook. Regards J
  11. Thanks guys, Not nano but maybe "micro" but nano is 1/700 and smaller that scale almost made me go blind ! Regards J
  12. Thanks Callum, I intend to try rigging the torpedo boat and see what happens! Regards J
  13. So this is the current main build; A start The new main armament; The first sub build; Starting the replacement AA weapons. I will be attempting to airbrush the majority!!!! Ha ha (Airbrush beginner!!!!) Regards J
  14. Hi all, I needed a quick project as I am still waiting on a few bits for my Torpedoboot (which I will post a new thread on soon). So here is my quick build (hopefully). It will be OOB with no extras, I couldn't justify them. The kit came as part of the d-day box set which was purchased with quite a bit already built badly and beyond saving, but it was cheap as chips so no complaining. A start; And on its future home, Regards J
  15. Thanks Billy, The Marco and Cato were white metal, no scale on the box but about 20mm scale and the gladiators were 1/32 from italeri. Regards J
  16. Thanks guys! After completing this one I moved up to larger scales even etch in 1/600 is much easier!!!!
  17. Nice work on the PE indeed, try working in 1/700 scale, I am moving to 1/400 or 1/350 for the majority of my builds now, still tricky but no where near as painful as 1/700. I do have a 1/600 Belfast with WEM PE in the stash, but that will be post a few others yet. Patience and remembering to breath are the key for me when it comes to the PE. Looking forward to more. Justin
  18. Absolutely stunning scratch building! Only just joined and I am def in good company! I have lots of the blue rigid foam……ideas aplenty now!!!
  19. Thanks BB, The figures were with the kit and came as a single mould with very little flash, the only thing I added per say was the base scatter. Regards Justin
  20. Nice build Ross! Although I have never been a fan of the Nelson class, they just don't look right!
