Just had a good look through pics of all the twin and four engine piston aircraft operated around that time by the RAF, I concur Halifax MkII 1A or MkIII but I would say a MkII 1A due to the engines not looking completely flat at the front like Bristol Hercules. But you can see the hole for the turret and the shadows for the outboard engines. Just my best guess!

  4. Hi all, I haven't done as much as i had hoped but a few bits done, All the PE AA weapons are built! The sea scape is getting there; Now I am just waiting on my new air compressor, as my cheap diaphragm one likes to pulse too much when used for more than 3 seconds !!!!! So one with a tank as I might be able to move indoors too! As a side project I built the Heller Bf109 G as a test bed for airbrush practice. Regards Justin

  6. Looking good Mark, I have seen the griffon PE in pictures how does look in the hand? I have only used WE, GMM and L'arsnel PE so far. Regards J

  8. I agree with Angst, I use scalpel blades, tweezers and a couple of flat modelling needle nose pliers which I find more useful than a bender, Regards Justin

  15. A splendid model Ray, I understand your thoughts on the upgrades, you could spend excessive amounts of money and where do you stop. I am for a balance between cost and detail. Which I think you have achieved superbly. Regards Justin
