  16. This is great. That mottling looks so right when im eyballing it all, it is right random/diffuse that many of them had. That makes it even more interesting to look at, i like it very much. and it makes it come alive. looking forward to se your weathering on this one. /Mal
  17. Thanks a for the kind words. Im pleased how this one turned out, and it will go with a dio that is under progress right now, Ive never before looked at so many pictures of a specific indevid, wich means they arent that many pics on this one that Oskar Bosch flew, the interesting thing is that the white cross and numbers are next to each othe nearly no space between them as stanard placement of them crosses is more centered on the fuselage on many fw190s, also them numbers is not that bald as they usually are, in fact as i intepreted photos, its more like the are with no white outline, ive see several builds of this indewid, all got the same standard bold, but photos show sligtly thinner numbers. it may be wrong or right, i dont know, ive only payed attention what a think is right after looking at photos, off course lots of arthistic freedom and qualified guessing from pictures and so on, my interpretation of this specific aircraft. /Mal
  18. Allright. Where to start.....ok. The kit is a Hasegawa FW190A8 1:32. The indevid ive chosen is Oskar Bosch, that cought me were that camoflage pattern and it shure got me hooked to do this indevid. This one is my first conversion try and this one got No:12 in finnished models since my restart, keep em numbered, havent builded in 19-20yrs and restarted approx 2yrs ago now. I went for a variant on this one, R2, so needed to scratch some parts, that armour on the sides were used evergreen plastic card, and new barrels and joints/parts were scratched since ive learned that they were not covered, as one mentioned Hasegawas No Nos on this one..them armoured glasses were scratched using evergreen plastic card. ive riveted this one using radub riveter and also his scriber, the paints ive mostly used were Vallejos Model and Air colors, all the camo were freehand airbrushed, som detail painting ive used tamiya, clear coats were Tamiyas, and finaly Flat coat decanned Tamiya TS80 wich in my opinion is superior (tried several ones before, but it works for me), for weathering engine, cockpit wheelbays, landing gear ive used oilcolors, and overall weathering ive used Florys washes. The build itself went smooth, the fit were very good, i didnt need any putty at all, exept used Tamiya putty disolved in acetone to use as surfacer on wingroots, the joint wingroot/engine were a little tricky there ive used CA glue and baking powder to fix it, i did not go for perfect as Kev mentioned that it were never perfect fit, there were gaps, so i went for that No Perfect thing....that also resulted in the fact taht there is a gap on the rack that holds the fueltank hade to be fixed, there were no gap so fixed that wit some plastic card. The only aftermarket ive used on this one were in fact only seatbelts from HGW, they were grat to use in my opinion, The only decals used on this one is the one on the armoured headrest, info/warning decals on the fuselage, insignia and crossed were painted also that square on the wings...in a way i paint all that i can paint. I Got to give special thanks to Greg, Martin and Brian at LSP who helped me alot with info, tips and detail information during this build, im very greatfull for your help guys.... The kit is very high recomended to do this version in my opinion. allright over to some pics.... /Mal
  19. This looks real good, real good. That camo pattern is spot on and "right" difuse, just in my taste, aslo the build with all that riveting and so on.... Loking forward to se this butcher finnished.... /Mal
  20. Allright Folks, this saga got to the End.....Im done and finnished. That wire is stretched in the canopy, pitot tube in place, position light in place, guncam got its lens..... This will have a second part of this saga, but in another section, since im going for a diorama later this week..... But here is some pre peeks, ill shot better pics outside with my Canon Eos 60D...hopefully i can shoot better pictures, and set that whitebalance right lol... /Mal
  21. Thanks Somnas.... Yeah...allready used all space, got two av these glass columns... both are filled....So few of theese are going to get new homes among my friends that love ww2 birds but they dont build any.... /Mal
  22. Thanks Mick.... Well, got a minor fix, i saw it after the rigging in the glass cabinett.....lol. One of the wires that supports that headrest armour is a bit slack....gha....oh well its just to fix it nothing more, theese things do happen when final assemly... Oh well just talking and start working /Mal
  23. Allright... here is the glasscabinett, isntalled ikea thin leds, looks cool in the livingroom when lightened down....just dryfitting that butcher in there..... Antenna in place, also that step...rigged the antenna wire too... four things left. The position lights, red and blue, a dot of clearfix for that cam lens, and dot those details on the wire with some white.....then over to the Diorama.... /Mal
  24. Allright... This is completely new for me.....lol a car....never built, painted, weathered one before........lol So this is going to be fun, i promise ill share every bit with you all....misshaps and success for shure.. /Mal
