Them shellexits are not upp for Mals Way....so remove em...since theese will be visible, ill have that droptank rack but no tank on this one, so they will be visible... Them shell exits ive rebuilded them channels....it just still under progress, and it will be much finer survace, dont worry about them scratchmarks from wetpaper....just done heavyduty job to thin them...so that will be just perfekt when im done with them..... Dryfitting it all.....this will work just fine for me....that small detail ads depth.....it will be adjusted and touched up...but it fits good.... Oh Well..... If it aint broke i shure by accident brake something....misshap during dryfitting of the wheelbays, wanted to make shure that the shellexits are aligned perfectly with them holes, used tape and when i removed the tape "snap" it sayd.... oh well, easy peasy fixin, this wont stop me.....we are going to get anothe beauty out of this one.... All glued in place, smooth like silk, i removed some av that casting wire, near the clamp, added led wire, now it looks like it is going somewhere instead to look like it been cut of... This is going to be fun to weather this wheelbay. /Mal little scratchwork... Them gun mounts for Mg151 are deone and in place...... Allright some more done.. Them removed panel lines are smooth, and drawn new ones on the wing, just checked with a wash to.... Them MK108 shell exits .... And dryfitting it all that it looks good.. /Mal im still ambivlent about doing flat coat, as ive skipped them also on my previous finnished FW190, since it kills them nice contrast that i like alot... also this one will do just fine for me..... Maybe not 100% right but it looks cool /Mal -
Allright.... Lets see, out of the ashes in to the fire.....in a way... Ive just finnished my other project that have been on the non lsp section of my FW190A8R2 Oscar Bosch Diorama...small finnishing touches left... But as aive said ave allready started little on thsi one, but now its about to start..... The kit is Hasegawa FW190A7, realized on thing, in fact it is the same kit, exept if doing a A7, you need to backdate it with small modifications, but we are not going for that, We are going for another FW190A8R2, Allright over to the build. As those follow me freq, they know that i buy secondhand unbuilt kits, money saver big time, and also leaves me room to put effort on good quality tools, paint, and so on instead that actually help my moddeling. Well there is some thing to take in concern with buying second hand over ebay...post handling the package.....the package were damage, and yes off course things are damaged, this one is the worst, oh well i wont let that take me down, start repairing.... firs ive glued that crack and pressed them togehter so that plastic bubbles, that way it creates a solid joint with models own plastic, belivie me on this one, it will be strong, Mals Way. Ive used a platic card piece and ca gued with slight tension, then hot water so it reduces stress in the plastic and get back to right shape, Perfect, dryfitted the engine inside and it is perfect fit, now to check that all shape is correct, need to take care of thees things in a early stage, much easier to fixem now than later..... yep, look at them stressmarks and that crack....this is going to be perfect....and solid.... Yep...this is straight on and looks real good....now let it rest tomorrow,,,, One thing..the indevid im going for is Werner Conradt, II.(Sturm)/JG 300...one interesting thing i like is the number one, also i really like the artist Arkadiusz Wrobel interpret of this one, ive used his interpret of Oscar bosh also....i like them tones and style in painting... Allright. Remeber what i said about using wash to check for errors, ive used it several times this way....when checked just water and dishliquid to remove. just to confirm what i allready knew, but it need to be checked anyway, looks good, like never happened.... That seat is thinned so it looks more right......took a while... That cowlings locks the upper front ones is removed with putty.... The exhaust pipes are done, also thinned them edges, the brass tubes in place to... This were done earlier...next stop for this one get new bearings made out of brasstube..the engine casting is ok, so them ignition wires wont be seen much when everything is in place, but can just be sligtly visible behind the fan and it is there..... bearing in place... Dryfitting it all....It llok like a smal gap on the fans bearing near the rod...it is an illusion only, it is tight fit... Ive thinned the blades slightly and sharpened the edges so it creates thins blades on the fan.... /mal

Allright....Just finnished the phot session.....Still learning to take pictures... Took them outside to get that natural light.... The kit is Tamiya P51D/K 1:32, my first P51 to, it were very fun to build, yep took over a yerar to finnish it, more cause ive done couple builds between, Brewster and a Fw190 with a diorama, This is my first proper try with them Alclad, it wasnt easy to get that worn alu look, it is all about prep, prep, I went for different shadings on them panels to look natrural, also one accident happened during weathering this one that ended up in a good way in the end, the cockpit sides are repainted and added another tone, so but turn them in to a benefit, yep hard work inwolved there... Thr only decals ive used is them on the side killmarks, on them gunbay hatches and fuelcaps, rest is masked and painted, i paint everything i can paint.... but im pleased in the end how it turned out, had many accidenst during this one, one were that i forgot a soldering iron near the wheelbay after ive done it, the radiation heat dammaged it badly, beyon recignition l, but got help from Frank (Daywalker LSP) he ordered me new sprues with them parts on it, Thanks Frank, also help from Peter (PeterPools LSP)on them Alclads during my build and usefull tips and also from many other builders during my build..... This is my interpret of Mrs Bonnie, just got home from a long flight and in a way field worn... Hope you like it, also This one got No 13 in finnished builds since my restart. (havent builded in 20yrs, restarted approx 2 yrs ago, so much to pick up phew, back then only Hmbrol and a brush, did not know what a wash were either) got a buildlog at IPMS Gothenburg on this one and LSP

Thanks all for the kind words... yes it is my first diorama, first figures, first car, first service cart, also first experiance on resin and many other things.... that what makes me tick in a way, (i see myself as a beginner all the time since my restart 1,5-2yrs ago, havent builded in 20yrs) all new things to try, technuiqs (paint oils on figures), pigments, plaster, mediums....list is long.... Ill definitly will do more of dioramas. /Mal

Yep... just imagine.... them B17 gunner seeing this one....the german Pilot seeing all guns pointed back at him all directions and bunch of P51s in the tail....all scared to death..but they had a job to do both sides..... Wery stressful situatioan and scary to......read alot about them belly turret gunners on B17s geeez.....thats a tough job and the one that got the worst procentege of survining in a B17,,,, hailstorm of bullets for all of them that were there....... They must had a adrealin rush from hell.....and they were young to... /Mal

You know what Joachim..... My buddy Ernst (very experianced builder and on dioaramas to) pointed out exact the same as you.....them wheels... But as ive said...one thing ive learned about dioramas is planning in early stages, i did that but not earlier i thoughts.....so that i will take with me.....se more of the scenario and planning before start of vehicles and diorama, since they must almost be builded at the same time to fit perfectly..... Next Diorama it shure be planned many stages before..... But this one is a go for me and lessons learned and fast .....
-
Allright..... Finnished my Diorama completely....the sign is in place...this one got number 12.1 (twelve finnished build and one first dio).... made couple of vintage pics on this one...well im not the gratest photographer...but still learning....had to go automatic...and it were ove 30c outside..... enough talking and over to the pics...
