Thanks Joachim. This build were a relax build, and fun, i know that is is not 100% right, that were never the purpose, as i felt i needed to come away from my FW190 A8 R2 Sturmbock a little while (Hasegawa) lots of scratchwork, reading books (got FW190 Vol1 and 3)and so on... One previous finnished Sturmbock Hasegawa 1:32 FW190A8 converted in to a R2 /Mal

WOW....that looks stunning...i love it....and looks real cool. ps one minor thing...not big deal...but patch that right spinner...it got a finger print on it :/ ...the third pic...or is it dirt only.... if so, then it is easy peasy to fix with your skills. all is perfectly ballanced, i like it.....

Allright....where to start... This got number 13:2 (my thirtens finnished model and my second diorama) i keep them numbered since my restart approx 2,5 years ago, havent builded in 19-20 years, some of you allready know that, but i keep them numbered in chrnological order. The kit is Eduard BF109E1 1:32 Profipak, the kit got many resemblies to a short run, but nothing serious that i couldn handle, this one is oob build, and it were a quicky fun relax build, i decided to paint all them crosses including the swastika, since the kit did not contain that, and them decal crosses were far to small on the wings, many know that i paint everything that i can paint, Made a diorama for this one, the pilot is various parts, Verlinden and hasegawa, and some various scratchwork, as the table and the pilots sunchair. Hte situation is 1940 on small island called Wangerroge, pilot Kurt Ubben sitting relaxing with a cup of coffe, waiting to get his aircraft ready, only cowlings need to be in place...reason for engine change is that earlier he got a hit on the engine going back home and he is lycky to get home, as can see the shell hole on the old engine cowling. Maybe not 100% right, but its good enough for me. /Mal

Also hammered togehter a Mals Way Tutorial on how i do my IP on them Hasegawa style casting with details by request from a Forum member at IPMS Gothenburg....a basic one, that explains how i do them Instrument wit framing and dials and glass....oics do the talking swedish ois a weird language...lol..took about one hour to do...but it si very basic and not a sharp version for a model...just example job http://ipmsgoteborg.clubdiscussion.net/t3985-instrument-panel-mals-waybasic-tutorial -

Allright....MK3 is a go, this will do just fine for me, added details, made from beercan, the projection lens will come in the end, that will be from clearfix, and gunsight glasses will added when it all is painted and weathered... dryfitting it all......yeah it looks like it is going to work, not perfect and maybe not 100% right but close enough and good enough for me.... /Mal -

Thanks TempestV...yea im for the moment deep in to them...this is my third wurger only... Allright..... Allright... More details and reading about theese mystical birds.... Revi...that revi....as i just read that since the FW190A7 they got exoupped with Revi 16b and not the one that is in the kit that looks closer to a revi C/12D...wich is wrong....ill explain for them who dont know, and lurking this thread... as im still learning to and this is my conclusions .... The kits C/12D revi and a reference pic...on that one... the revi 16b looks like this... and this is my MK1 in doing a revi 16b without them gunsigt glasses....it looks ok but not good enough...first timer in doing them....not pleased with this one so im going to do a new one MK2 or 3 or 4 lol till im pleased...this is the world in scratching somethings is a first timer... /Mal -

Thanks Parabat. Got the great tip from Brian (LSP)....as ive first were going to scratch them Plastic card or brass sheet....he said...beercan, perfect curve and material is done perfect and thin and stiff at the same time, easy to work with siccors and scalpel, just mark and bent it snaps perfect, that material is great use....so got that in my material stash lol.... /Mal -

Thanks Marty... Now engine itself in place in the cowling.....this were a big job i ashure you....the casting on this kit is it not the same as my previous that went like a charm, tamiya fit...oh well this model is meant for me in a way..to learn to overcome obsticles for shure lol... More things...dry fitting is the key as always...but it start to reveal some of casting errors....but this is easy peasy to fix..this is self inflicted cause ive cutted little to much lol...but that will be fixed so it wont even happened when im finnished... other side perfect....so have only one side to tackle but as i see it...no problems at all, allready checked that everything is perfect straight to with the fuselage perfect...no wobbly fuselage look here..(allready checken in real early stages before the fuselage halfes were glued and so on) Oh yes...love that gap....yep...it is going to be there as the real deal......imperfection is perfection in this case...anoying isnt it lol.... But hey...look at them lines....aaaah love them for shure...it looks so mean in its own way (love them zekes to cause them lines) /Mal -

Thanks Winenut for them kind words. Small things done today....Yhe kits BMW engine is not much to say hurra for....sadly, but litte pimpin makes it little more interesting, since it going to be barely visible behind the fan when it is mounted, sublte is the key.... From this to...this...clearcoted and ready for weathering.... Also one interesting thing about theese wurgers, the fit between panels..on the real dealthere is gaps...yes gaps, so imperfection is perfection in this case...so there is going to be gaps on this on purpose....onlu thing i fill do with them is that ill use homebrew surfacer to fil em slightly (capilaryforce do the job), or else wash may soak thru and get out and may harm paintjob... /Mal -

Allrigt... had to take a beer yesterday to obtain some material for this purpose...lol Fisrt try...MK1 on them gills (those who followed my threads before i can do MK1, MK2 and even up to 10 tries, im shure stubborn) The way to do them seems to work.....Hey Big Fishing lol.... 4 I will experiment about them angles....got to read more on this matter...note theese one are just a tryout...and not sharp versions... /Mal -
