How do you contact this fellow ?
Paul @ Parkes682Decals replied to chrisb's topic in Parkes682Decals
Hi I am here busy as normal, just PM me or email me parkes682decals@aol.com Paul -
Hi All Thanks for the lovely comments. Thats why i set up Parkes682Decals because you can do something different from whats in the kit and aftermarket decals. Ive had this one on the "back burner" waiting to have a "White" Inkjet printer so i could draw up the "bubbles" and the registration of the jetranger in white. Ihad to modify a few things inside the rotorhead from the kit,and seal up the rear buggage door. The kit skids in the kit had to be dumped, and i scratchbuilt the new skids. The cabin area had some scratchbuilt work as well seeing has the kit is very rough inside. When i put these out at shows they add a bit colour to a selection of greys and green that are normally put out on the table. They certainly catch the eye. Paul Parkes682Decals

Hi All Here's my lastest model, its a Bell Jetranger II in the custom markings of Pepsi /Mountain Dew /Ktla TV/KISS FM Radio. Its a Revell 1:32 Jetranger II in Custom Scheme of the actual Jetranger N76PE. The decals are my own "Custom Decals" with "White Bubbles" all over the helicopter. I had to painstaking draw each "bubble" to photographs. You will notice,it has two colour schemes metallic blue and metallic green to show the 2 sponsors Ktla TV and KISS FM Radio. It has 2 other sponsors Pepsi and Mountain Dew. I had modify several things in the kit, there are one's you cannot see and some you can see namely the skids to make them look as they should. Hope you like it. Paul

Most are in the the standard green camo and 1 in snow scheme. All will be in 1:72 scale

Hi All Ive had a number of requests asking if i have any spares left over concerning the "Arctic Tiger" that where applied to the Super Etendard These were made by 2 manufacturers Syhart and Model Alliance both now out of production. Ive had several requests from all the world, asking me to put these back on a short run. Well ,ive printed 8 sets with the following photos show these will be on a first come first serve basis. The cost is £15, and £2.04 postage (recorded delivery within the UK) Oversea's will be £3.80 Payment by Paypal The black strips will not be in the sets as this will cost more, and im trying to keep the costs down.

Hi All Here's a New Decal Sheet ive been working on for a modeller in the USA.Its the "Akron Childrens Hospitial Air Ambulance" better known as "Air Bear 1" There are no decals of this helicopter so i decided to completely draw up this scheme in 1:32 scale. As you can see its in Silver/Dark Blue scheme and there are a lot of decals on this EC135. Ive shown the test sheet drawings this included "Air Bear" with decals for both sides, this had to be "freehand" drawn on my PC. Well have a look As you can see there is a lot of work gone into this. The "Bear" due to it has white in the artwork it has a "white" bear placed on first then a colour version on top. The "stars" have a white star on first, and again a coloured one on top. There varies sizes of stars so varies white are put on first so the coloured stars dont disappear on the blue background. The "White" Air Bear and N728AB are printed up black on the test shots, but end up white on the decal sheet. You may also notice the 2 round "grills" that are printed black you can see where they go on the above photo. Special thanks to Eric Larson for his photo's Paul Parkes682Decals

Tornado 1/48 decals for Italian P-9 ?
Paul @ Parkes682Decals replied to Tonka's topic in Parkes682Decals
Hi Tonka Your the second person to ask me about this aircraft,i was at our show Sutton Coldfield Model Makers Society on Sunday and one of the Tornado SIG asked me about it. I will have to PM the costs of making this sheet. Paul. -
Hi All Here's the second metallic ink a "Gold" Inkjet Printer. Again, based on the Canom MP280 Printer this prints "Gold" on to clear decal sheet. The photos show "Gold" printed on to paper, with Rolls Royce badges for Airliners engines,Cars almost anything. The "Gold" is actually a nanoprint ink that has been specially developed and has "Brass" particles with a holding agent and some white inkjet ink in it. The ink is still ongoing trials so i thought i would share with you the progress and to show whats in the pipeline for us modellers. Please be aware this is "Cutting Edge" Technogly and trials are continuing with both Silver and Gold to further there development. You may notice black particles in the image, this caused by Silver or Gold particles breaking down the remains of the black ink still left after cleaning. As more ink is added (Silver/Gold) this will stop and the metallic will be coming through 100% Paul Parkes682Decals Enjoy the photos

Paul @ Parkes682Decals replied to Paul @ Parkes682Decals's topic in Parkes682Decals
Hi Charley420 Its a bit technical to explain but if you have a few hours to spare i could tell you. Its took 3 years to develop on from the white inkjet. It goes through a Canon MP280 printer which has a black and tri-colour cartridges. So,i can print black,Silver, and colours. The silver ink is in one of the new spare black cartridges. The ink to its chemical make up is wet (water based) it has microscopic particles of silver/aluminium and is held together in a holding agent. Its simliar to the white inkjet. The shine comes from the particles and a chemical in it,the silver stains the holding agent Yes,its a trade secret. Im still doing trials with it to see what it can do and not do Paul
