  1. Hi there, are you able to do these decals in 172 scale as this is the last AC of th BBMF for me to make. Please PM me if its possible.

    Cheers

    Hi Hardtarget

Yes i will consider making them in 1:72 but not until January 2009 im a bit busy at moment getting the decal work clear at moment.Got hit for six by Truck modellers i think i have opened a can of worms there. There is no body making Truck decals well custom ones at least all different scales and im not use to trucks just aircraft.

Please get back in January when i should be clear, there's a note on my website explaining this

  2. poo-poo, sorry Paul... you did ask for my help on this. ME brain strikes

    Cool scheme though :)

    Hi Mike

Yes i did ask at Cosford,I requested the real one to Tally Ho the Police HQ in Birmingham and did a walkaround photo shot taking 80 photos. If you look closely you can see they use AtoZ to navigate when the system brakes down has back up.They normally have GPS Maps on two monitors in the back they can read a number plate from 1000 feet. The crew where brilliant.I have got many more photos to put on of my models will get round to it some day

    Paul

    Hi Jim

I am currently building a Eurocopter EC-135P2 of West Midlands Police Air Support in 1:32 scale using the Revell kit.

This May i arranged through a friend in West Midlands Police to go and have a look around it at there police Headquaters. Its not easy to do,you have to be checked out first by the police as i have MOD clearence quiet high clearence i got the ok to arrange a meeting and take a "walkaround" and take pictures of all the helicopter both inside and outside in great detail. There are a number of changes to the outside of the P2 version.Inside you will have to scratchbuild the interior as it is custom made inside and you would'nt believe what they have got inside there. The police wouldn't let me post these photo's to anybody so i cannot show you them. Its for security and anti terriost reasons. So you will find they will not let you take photo's inside only outside.

The decals i can do for you as im doing them for mine,if you send me your email address by PM i will send you some photos of the decals im doing for mine.

    Best Regards

  7. decals arrived safely in the post yesterday and i picked them up this morning..... :mg:

they are very nice and throughly recommended.

now to find the RoG Dornier 228-200 i think i have in the stash and also to think what else in the

stash these can be adapted for.

    :mike: cheers phil! :mike:

    Hi Trevor

Many thanks for your comments, well you saw them first at Sutton Coldfield Show and ordered them there and then. Will love to see them on the Dornier 228-200 when you get to build it.As it is a "What if "scheme it should bring back some memories of "Fly me high Barbados sky" song back in the 80's that made the charts.Im going to do this scheme in Red as well for a "What if"so there will be two of them.

    Best Regards

  12. Hi All

Just to let you know that a new decal sheet will be available in October 2008.

Its the RAF 90th Anniversary Hawk T.1 Decals in 1:48th scale (printed on to white decal)

Its a Limited Edition of 10 only, and will not be 1:72 owing to the size of certain decals on the aircraft

The photo of the aircraft is on my website,www.parkes682decals.piczo.com in Bae Hawk on left towards bottom.

  13. The Victor! :worthy::partytime:

    Hi All

Another clue that went missing was have a look at my website i did the decals for liam and there's a picture of the Typhoon on there with the decals that i supplied for him, thats why I was out of it.

Should come out quite good different from most german special anniversary sheme's.

  14. soooooo, let's recount....not swiss, not malta, but there's an Austrailian connection. And the thing is, it's not as if you were barren of choice or direction. Although, I could be considered a right motherf***k*r for all this horseplay. Still, it's not without merit. But I am glad that the color choice I made has met with approval. The guessing game here is encouraging a real corps d'esprit that I really enjoy and am glad that there is no brown-nosing going on...can't have favouritism afterall....no medals to be won in THAT manner, no sir. Can I get a witness?? Someone to dispute a claim?

Tell you what....first to post the correct answer gets a kit.....a kit of my choice which could be ANYTHING....

    Liam

ps Paul, you're excluded. So is Bobby Von Buckles as he knows the what-if scheme I am making.

    Hi Liam

So me and Bobby Von Buckles are out of it then, but it's nice to play them along any more clues needed or is it his Anniversary!.I think the australian connection sent you lot up garden path a bit and the brown nose as well.

Keep guessing you are getting a little warmer

    Paul

  15. 01-08-2008

All wrong so far guys.....not even in the right country ( but you ARE in the right contenient!)

By the way, if you read my previous posts correctly, you'll know at least the airforce, if not the scheme. Remember, it's a What-If....

    Liam

(ps, it's NOT a Swiss cross. There are a few missing elements from the tail design..I wanted to make sure that the red did show through the lovely decals Paul provided. And the paint on the underside crackled again when I sprayed my gloss varnish!! Not as bad as before, but noticeable....think I'll just push and put two wing tanks on her to camoflauge the damage)

    Hi Liam

There's an Austrailain connection to this shooting around hey Liam
