Hi Barrie They do the full set of daygo ther's 40 different colours and they do strips,stars and checkers in most of the colours too its cheaper and easier and you can get a razor sharp edge when use scissors/scapel with a steel rule on a sheet of glass attached to a MDF sheet of 18 mm A4 size is all you need.The only thing you have to keep sharp is the scapel as after a while the edge does go. Hi Karl I made my own using GFS (Tool Steel -01) and 6mm perspex and made the punches out of a material called D2 its the correct steel for punches and you cannot bend it.The D2 has to be vacum hardened and then ground flat to produce a sharp cutting edge.The cutting clearence has to .001" to get it right otherwise it will not work properly( remember once you have cut halfway the slug should drop away)Mine starts at .5 mm to 10 mm it works .It does help i you are a qualified Press Tool Toolmaker as well.The ones you have shown in the photos look cheap and nasty made from mild steel,i think they are ripping you off.You get what you paid for its better to use the right materials they will last you a lifetime Paul

Hi Baz Right,Hannant do a trim film by superscale/microscale the code number is MSTF 28 Bright Glow Red i think its £1.99 sheet (7"x5") its solid colour and is easily cut to size using scissors and applied the same as you would apply decals.There range of colours extend to at the moment to 30 colours. www.hannants.co.uk Paul

Hi Hardtarget Yes i will consider making them in 1:72 but not until January 2009 im a bit busy at moment getting the decal work clear at moment.Got hit for six by Truck modellers i think i have opened a can of worms there.There is no body making Truck decals well custom ones at least all different scales and im not use to trucks just aircraft. Hi Mike Yes i did ask at Cosford,I requested the real one to Tally Ho the Police HQ in Birmingham and did a walkaround photo shot taking 80 photos.If you look closely you can see they use AtoZ to navigate when the system brakes down has back up.They normally have GPS Maps on two monitors in the back they can read a number plate from 1000 feet.The crew where brilliant.I have got many more photos to put on of my models will get round to it some day Paul Thanks Mike for your help Paul

Hi Jim I am currently building a Eurocopter EC-135P2 of West Midlands Police Air Support in 1:32 scale using the Revell kit. This May i arranged through a friend in West Midlands Police to go and have a look around it at there police Headquaters.Its not easy to do,you have to be checked out first by the police as i have MOD clearence quiet high clearence i got the ok to arrange a meeting and take a "walkaround" and take pictures of all the helicopter both inside and outside in great detail.There are a number of changes to the outside of the P2 version.Inside you will have to scratchbuild the interior as it is custom made inside and you would'nt believe what they have got inside there.The police wouldn't let me post these photo's to anybody so i cannot show you them.Its for security and anti terriost reasons.So you will find they will not let you take photo's inside only outside. The decals i can do for you as im doing them for mine,if you send me your email address by PM i will send you some photos of the decals im doing for mine. Best Regards Paul

Hi Trevor Many thanks for your comments,well you saw them first at Sutton Coldfield Show and ordered them there and then.Will love to see them on the Dornier 228-200 when you get to build it.As it is a "What if "scheme it should bring back some memories of "Fly me high Barbados sky" song back in the 80's that made the charts.Im going to do this scheme in Red as well for a "What if"so there will be two of them.
