  1. Hi Julian I have developed this for my own needs and spent about 3 years in research and development. About a year ago i found a company that was developing a white ink made from two water based chemicals that made ink white. It also had to be able to go through a Epson Print Head without blocking the heads Until recently,i cannot tell you because of legal reasons of patenting process and registering of the ink and copyrighting by the company involved the Epson printer is a A4 printer. The probelm is the cartridges for these are not avaiable at the moment as they have to brand new clean cartridges. Also the ink is not avaiable only 1 litre of this ink has been made.I had to buy 500 ml from the company for trials which have proved succesful on the Epson printer. The ink will not be for sale for 2 years while the legal side is sorted out. I can print white decals for any one that wants these, but i will have to see what is required and give you some idea of cost to make. They are printed on to clear decal. Hope this helps Paul

  19. Hi there I have spoken to the manufacturer's of the ink and i have got to watch the legal stuff has this is a new ink,and has to go through being patented. So i cannot tell you about the ink yet. The process is a bit technical, but will require a brand new Epson printer. Also brand new clean cartridges,i have only a certain amount of this ink for trials and i have had to pay for it.It is expensive but will depend on what you do with it as far as drawings and logo's etc. My JPNL cartridges (which is a different supplier) does my colour inks at £20 a cartridge x4 (£80.00 a set) which is a thicker ink specially for doing decals please dont use normal inks as they bleed.Im hoping that the costs are not to the point that it is not worth the cost to make. This ink will only work on certain Epson's printer range as well due to the head, the legal stuff covers that so i cannot let you know yet. I am hoping to have some photo's of a white decal on a coloured background as soon as the paint dries and the decal as well Watch this Space Paul
  20. Hi there No,this can only be used on Epson printers. There's only certain ones this can be used on,its down to the the printing head and the ink.Epson recently bought out a ink that can only be used on there big graphic printers and they are about £750 for 440ml cartridges. The ink im using has been developed away from this seperately for A4 inkjet printers. We are looking into making gold and silver inks in the near future.
  21. Hi Paul Thanks for the enquiry, this ink has been specially made for Epson printers only. The cost are a little bit more expensive than the ones i currently use in colour printing. I will be at Cosford with some samples to show any modellers Paul
  22. Hi All I have been developing an inkjet that prints white on clear decal. As Alps are not a option now as they went bust 5 years ago,and cartridges and service support has stopped. I started looking into getting a white ink to take over from Alps printers,as silk screen have a minimum charge of 500 to 1,000 sheets I have been working with a ink company to make one that can go through a Inkjet Printer for over a year now. I have the pleasure to tell you that one now exists, they are done on a Epson Printer. Here's a photo of some test shots printed on to blue card just show the ink (Copyright Parkes682Decals 2010) These are just Test Shots Paul
