Sea Harrier Decals 1:24 scale 899 Sqd FAA
Paul @ Parkes682Decals replied to Paul @ Parkes682Decals's topic in Parkes682Decals
Hi there The holder of the copyright has refused me to use this artwork,so either he changes his mind and lets me reprint these. Its us modellers that are suffering due to a copyright issue between himself and a modeller who asked him to draw this up artwork of 899 sqd Harrier FRS1 50th Anniversary. Im in the middle of these parties, and all i do is make someone idea's into a decal for them to use on there model, after all its a hobby we all enjoy so i cannot see why this cannot happen. Hi there Just type Richard J. Carauna decals into you search engine and it will find his website his email is on there. Paul -
Hi All Here's some AH-1 Skyraider decals that i have produced from Richard J. Carauna artwork. These where made for a modeller who wants to do one of the Skyraiders of his superb artwork both in Black and in my new "White" ink inkjet on to clear decal. To do these permission has to be granted by Richard J. Carauna who holds the copyright has these are not mass produced.I only make one-off's custom decals. The photo's show the black numbers/letters on clear decal, also the white decal numbers/letters The Qrange card shows the "white"inkjet up much clearer Paul Parkes682Decals

Sea Harrier Decals 1:24 scale 899 Sqd FAA
Paul @ Parkes682Decals replied to Paul @ Parkes682Decals's topic in Parkes682Decals
Hi there Drop me a PM,but please remember they are in 1:24th scale so they are big decals Paul -
Hi All Here's a set of decals that ive just done for a fellow model maker and a member of the Harrier SIG Artwork copyrighted Its the 1:24th scale Sea Harrier 899 sqd FAA,these are printed on to clear decal with white inkjet decals to go under the yellow decals to help them show up. Remember these are made as one off's decals for modellers, and is copyrighted. Permission to make these decals has to be granted by the owner of the work. These are not mass produced like other decal manufacturer's.The photo's are for viewing only to give the modeller how the decals are produced Have a look Paul This is what it looks like on the real one

Hi All I do mine in two different ways in inkjet 1) Coloured inks on to clear decal 2) white inkjet on to clear decal 1) If you are doing artwork that is going on two a dark background, lighter colour's disappear when applied to a dark background only blue's and black's stay dark. If you print on to white decal paper they don't,but you have to cut out the decal from the white decal sheet. This proves to be impossible with small items or lettering. 2)About 18 months ago,i developed a white inkjet printer so i can print white ink on to clear decal. This helps because i can use this as a background decal, then place a coloured decal on top to the light colour show's up on a dark background. Alps printers are now out of production and spares are very limited and service cover has stopped. So the only way to print white on to a clear decal is a white inkjet printer like the one i have. I hope this clears up any answer's As for J Carana's decals on clear decal they come very good, the white decals which are printed black come out white on my white inkjet printer as good as the coloured one's Hope this clears up any answers Paul Parkes682Decals
