  9. Hi Neil I have printed a set for myself of these decals for my own personnel use. I have contacted Richard several times to get his permission to print his artwork for other modellers on a one off basis and not mass produce them. He owns the copyright after all,i find Richard J. very helpful indeed when asking for written permission for one off's. Paul Parkes682Decals

  15. Hi Tony in Texas I think we can help you,i dont think airfix are going to reproduce these for some time. I would have to redraw totally the decals from your sheet to get the sizes right, but it can be done. Can you send a jpeg image of the decal sheet to my email at parkes682decals@aol.com and i will have a look and email you back. Paul Parkes682Decals
  16. Hi I was talking to Gary Madgewick the boss of Model Alliance at the Cosford Show and he said the MOD does have a copyright on the roundel only the red, white, and blue version. Also British Aerospace has a copyright on its artwork. Thats why you will notice the red circle is missing from certain sheets of all decal sheets unless the company have paid the MOD to use it,Gary did say they a figure of £5,000 was required on some sheets but i cannot confirm this.It would tend to ask Gary Madgewick seeing has he deals with MOD for his sheets. Paul

  22. Hi All Here's some custom decals that im making for for a modeller in the USA. The story behind these decals are for a modeller who's grandfather flew in this aircraft during WW2 and he wants to re-create his grandfather's B-24J Liberator from the 460th BG USAF. The part is the "noseart" in this case "Big Time Operators" which has to be hand drawn to what photo's have been supplied in both black and white, and luckily colour. The first photo is of the artwork photo and my artwork. # The two others show a bit more detail, sizes are needed to do this height x width The BIG TIME OPERATORS is drawn up in black and then the white inkjet prints it "white" ink on to clear decal. Also the gentleman is also drawn up in black and printed white on clear decal The colour part of the decal goes on top to show the white underneath. Paul
