  10. If these are used for wrapping up food to keep it fresh then yes The cotton wool can be stretched out to as thin or fine as you need also try soaking the wool in something like Valleo waters effects this will reduce the fuzziness. beefy

  15. Gent's thanks for the kind words and likes some small progress started on the foremast using some Albion alloys rod and tubing for the uprights and some of the kit parts for the yard arms. More bits to add after studying the plan drawings and the photo @robgizlu sent to me. Stay Safe beefy

Hello @bissyboat the terra cotta that you are looking for would be a non-slip coating known as Corticene and the grey would be deck grey a darker colour than shown on those paint guides here are the Colour-Coates examples. The light Grey would be for the verticale surfaces looks like your paint guide is showing a western approaches scheme Hope This Helps. Stay Safe beefy

  19. Cant believe I missed the start of this one but my excuse was I was very busy with other issues in November and December and not drink related I am sad to say.   22. Thanks David not a patch on your scratch building but appreciate the very kind comment. So this mornings work the 4 inch mid-ship guns added details from the WEM set and started to ready the ships boats the two smaller ones I have covered with tissue paper now to look at the masts.
