  2. Hi! Excellent work... Ciao IWik
  3. Hi y'all! Here are some pics of my build. Sorry, I don't feel like commenting them tonight, but if you have any questions concerning the built, please feel free to ask...🤗 Ciao Iwik
  4. Hi y'all! Just realized I didn't post this in the finished section yet. For info that's a Hasbro vinyl figure, of which I replaced the joints and did a all new paint job. Hope you like it. Ciao Iwik
  5. Hi! Did the same a few years ago. Used 1/72 Panzer Mk IV barrels for the two laser guns. Had a blast upgrading this old kit, and it looks great with the right paint job. Good luck! Ciao Iwik
  6. Hi y'all! Here's my latest! Hope you like it. ciao Iwik
  7. Hi! What a beautiful weathered kit! Got to get myself one of these now... Excellent work! Ciao IWik
  8. Hi Andy! Superb build as usual. Always an inspiration. Keep them coming!!! ciao Iwik
  9. Hi! Excellent as usual. Well, with all that, you just have no excuse to mess up a B-wing! Ciao Iwik
  10. Hi! This is not the Bandai kit which I find too big for my taste. It's a vinyle toy from Hasbro found on ebay for around 10£ (S&H included!). It's around 12 cm high. The details are pretty decent. Although almost static I decided to cut off all the joints and replace them with sections of plastic tubes. This way I was able to give it the pose I wanted the droid to have. The figure stood in that state for a bunch of months on my bench until recently I decided to start the paint job as I was painting my Death Star. The paint job is almost done. Pictures to come pretty soon. Ciao Iwik
  11. Hi y'all! Here it is finished at last, after a black wash in the main trench. Another fine addition to my SW Bandai kits, but by far the most time consuming one! See you soon! Ciao Iwik

  13. Hi! That's a really nice little Xwing! I'm planning on building the same version and your build is an inspiration! Great work! Ciao IWik PS Maybe some fake reflection (or at least some clear varnish) of light on the windows?
  14. Hi y'all! Here it is finished at last...well, until I realized I'd forgotten to put a black wash into the main trench... I also wanted to take a picture with an object for scale effect, so that will be for the "finished section" I guess. Hope you like the result! I've redone the shoadow int the dish. I like it better that way. Ciao Iwik
  15. Hi! I'm done with the southern hemisphere... at last..; I've simulated the sun's shadow on the DS, but I've failed to match the pattern with the shadow inside the "crater", so I guess I'll have to do it again...bummer... I've also represented some lighted windows by adding tiny dots of white paint in the dark side, mostly around the equator... Then I started representing the strutural skeleton with very fine railing. Unfortunately, one cannot use pieces less than two blade thick otherwise everything comes apart. But I believe it will do the trick nicely... Ciao Iwik
  16. Hi! There it is Pierre. Or part of it anyway... I've painted the different panels with different shades of grey.... (joke anyone?). Then I used the base color to correct all the paint which had overflowed. Then I added vertical and horizontal lines with grey (almost white) and greyish blue paint. Here only the "northern" hemisphere has been treated.: On with the southern one! That's a reeeaaaallly boring job though... Then I will try to represent the shadow cast by the sun on the DS, first on the dish, this way, if I'm not satified with the result, I won't have everything to paint again... Ciao IWik
  17. Hi Andy! Definetly a build to follow... With you at the commands, this Bwing will be deadly! Ciao Iwik
  18. Hi! When it came out, I knew how I would paint and detail it This kit is not as easy to build as the other small SW kits. It's well conceived alright, but you do have to paint some time painting the inside first. I used a very dark grey with dry brushes of lighter and lighter shades of grey, to finish with an almost white at the most exposed edges. The level of details is once again top notch, but I want to detail it even more with the addition of thin flattened copper wires to simulate the framework still very much visible. I've put some on the kit just to see what it would look like. However, I need to paint the outside first as otherwise I would most likely destroy all the work done with the numerous handlings of the kit. See you moon, uhh, soon. Ciao Iwik
  19. Hi! This is a somewhat modified 1/35 Junk Tank Rock model (removed the gas tank, added a floating sensor array, changed the "feet", replaced the arms of the figure and added a 3D monitor helmet) into a futuristic Long Range Desert Group member, spying on some ennemy troops incognito. I treated it like a tank in the way I painted/weathered it. Hope you like it. ciao Iwik
  20. Hi! I just love it. With your upcoming weathering it will turn out great! No doubt! Ciao Iwik
  21. Hi! This is not a Bandai or F-toys kit. I actually don't know the brand of that little thing bought cheaply on ebay. But once being a great fan of the old series (loved it as a kid!) I couldn't help but fall in love with that Raider toy? So I just got rid of a couple of mold lines and decided to repaint the whole thing using different shades of grey acrylic paints. Weathered with oïl paints. Hope you like it! BEFORE: AFTER: Ciao Iwik
  22. Hi there! Another Bandai mini kit! The ATST comes with the Snowspeeder boxing. A nice little kit as usual, but unfortunately you can't position the legs as you wish. So I had to do a bit of surgery and scratch to fix that, as well as adding a few details here and there. To have a feel of the scale: And with Daddy: See you soon with the ATAT in 1/144 from F-Toys. Ciao Iwik
  23. Hi! The future of modelling???? Another case where machines replace man... Very well done! Cioa Iwik
  24. Hi! Another mini kit from Bandai. What a treat! I just carved out one of the air brake compartment and scratch built the airbrake itself. Painted with acrylic Vallejo paints, "miniature" style without any masking tape. Hope you like it! ciao IWik
