Hi y'all! Here a "little" miniature depictiong the famous "Thing" from Marvel's Fantastic Four. By far my most favorite of the four. The figure needed some work to make joints disparear with the help of small "stones" made of Magic Sculpt. I tried to accentuate the contrasts (especially the highlights on the top parts) to give the figure some more volume and life. Hope you like it. Ciao Iwik

Hi y'all! A while back, I came across LIFE photo archives and found a series of shots of the war correspondents in Tunisia in 1943. I really liked the sand scheme of the early Jeep with the arabic serials. The French miniature company Reedoak released a few months later a war correspondent, who really looked like the one standing in the first photo. Moreover, I also found a small decal sheet from Echelon depicting that very Jeep. A resin roman column and the project started...and stopped for a few days...weeks...months, until 2019 New Years resolutions. I MUST finish some of my begun projects. I've used Italeri's kit with a photoetched set and some scratch as you can see: And here is the final product! Pretty happy how it ended up. Hope you like it too! Ciao IWik

Hi! I meant that the medium and the (lack of?) pigments never mix. I bought about a dozen from their range (on the same order from their site) and all are nearly transparent, as if there was no pigment at all... Ciao Iwik

Hi! Just discovered this brand of figures for the Star Wars board game. The material in which it is made is a real pain to trim, something in between plastic and vinyl. Yuk. But some from this range are really cool so I bought myself a few (winter is coming after all). painted wth acrylic paints. Ciao Iwik PS See you soon with Chewbacca!

Hi! So many nice words!!! I'm blushing... Nooo, just kidding. But keep them coming! Booty003, I have that great book. So unfortunate decal manufacturers can't use most of them since they lack the ID on those birds... Bruce, the fit was...tight in some place. For ex, you have to remove some plastic from the sides of the instrument panel in order to fit the nose, and the roof in a bit tricky to lay on top of the cabin. I had to glue it in force to align itself properly, but it may have been because I misaligned the sides in the first place. On the other hand, the instructions are quite obscure and the lack of pins in some places is cruelly felt. The tail halves need to be spread a bit as you can see in one of my pics, unless you want a huge step to appear once you join it with the rest of the cabin... Lots of small little problems that really bug you along the way, not in a difficult way, but rather make you think that this kit was just a step away from being REALLY nice if they had put some more work into it. Do buy this kit. It's the best Huey in town. Ciao Iwik
