  1. This is stunning! The wheel wells are currently my favourite part, not sure why but they look excellent. As ever very nice weathering.

I hope there isn’t a timescale! I haven’t even buttoned up one of mine yet, or even started the second one, that said it’s because I’m still waiting on decals to sort a scheme or even a mark for the B-24… I’ll email him again, probably won’t love that as he has a lot on!

  2. A few pictures from a visit to Wings museum near Crawley, it’s a surprising little place full of very interesting aircraft and aircraft parts. A Russian havoc, and p-63, a Dak used for the filming of band of brother, the parts from a p-38 f4 I think? The photo recon version, which have surprisingly blue original paint on… and the below. Both are Australia examples but thought they might be of interest.

aussie Beaufort nose, unsure of the mark but looks like the nose similar to an RAF MKII?

Looks lovely. The scheme will make a nice change from TSS or green/brown. And thank you for hosting!

Thanks Adrian, however as a host I don’t feel I’ve done a great deal. This GB has fallen in a pretty hectic time for me! But it’s doing well with so many great subjects, your own very much included in that.

Glad you guys have recovered Rob!

The interior is up to your now usual high standards!

Woah there partner, let’s not start throwing things like ‘usual high standards’ around… save that kind talk for the man above 😃. He can handle the pressure!
