  1. Would you believe it, found it in a mag so thanks to those who looked.
  2. I always thought the Gosport/Lee on Solent area fasinating, partly because as you drive along the road you come across these two huge hovercraft. It is a great shame that these exhibits could not be found a new home, the Science museum would be ideal if they could be moved there but I fear not.
  3. Rather annoyingly, I saw some of the above used on a 1/48 Gnat build and came across some on the inter-web, but like the numpty I am, forgot to bookmark it. Does anyone have any idea where I can purchase this from please so I can use it on my Gnat around the cockpit. Thanks Gary.
  4. Yet again your work presenting old and worn scenes is excellent, so much to look at and take in.
  5. I want to get my" Bullet" DVD out now and watch the coolest car chase in cinematic history. Nice build.
  6. That's what I like about this hobby, you never know what someone will build, very charming models.
  7. Look forward to seeing your latest purchase then Darby, but for now I think you have done well with the Graf Spee, I would imagine the skill set for building ships is different to building aircraft, where do you start painting a ship; for instance.
  8. The weathering on the paint scheme is excellent, I like what you have done with the interior, it would be nice to be able to do that on planes to show all the work on cockpits and workstations.
  9. I think you have done yourself proud, looks spot on to me.
  10. I had this as a kid but it did not look that good, very well done.
  11. Round one to you Tony. I did not realise the Navy had this type and I like the Gloss Black scheme.Very nice.
  12. Thats some history lesson and a super model, I like the refuelling pod and the paint work on the intake.
  13. A very nice Hunter in a uncommon scheme. Thanks for posting.
  14. Here is a linky that I found with lots of photos of most things, many Russian, not sure if it is already known but if not here it is; http://walkarounds.airforce.ru/index.htm
  15. OK, I confess, I have been foiled i my attempt to ...... ! seriously, they are fantastic tips on using foil and I WILL have to give it a go, although it takes me an age to make a model when painting so nothing to be seen from me for a couple of years if I use foil. Thanks very much for the info, most appreciated.
  16. Will you people stop making such fine models of Shack's, mine will never see the light of day at this rate. Your bristles skills are excellent by the way.
