  3. Wow ,and there i was debating should i point out that i don't think at that stage of the war German tanks would be showing a flag .
  4. By the by ,i live in Shropshire ,i see you are in Kidderminster ,any model shops down there ?Not that i am going to buy any more kits.
  5. I think he was being sarcastic ,anyway bit of a downer showing us a actual photo of the damage done by said Aircraft .
  6. You are all wrong .a 1/24 Hellcat i saw it on scalemates. Oh dear ,i didn't see that someone had beaten me to it .

  11. Thanks for the replies ,going to put this kit to one side until i get the decals next month . Next on the work bench is a Tamiya 1/48 mossie ,and the Italeri 1/48 Re2002 .
  12. Hi ,a few weeks ago i posted about needing instructions some Hasagawa decals i bought off ebay ,anyway started to use them and they started to break up . Don't know if Hasagawa decals are prone to this ,or it was because they were second hand .Put some liquid decal film on them ,but they still broke up . Anyway getting some decals from the Big yellow giant ,and picking them up at Telford . Thanks to to the person who posted the original Hasagawa instructions so i could down load them .
  13. Very nice ,while we are on the subject of Hurricanes in Soviet service ,i read in a book Stalin threw all the remaining Hurricanes down mine shafts at the end of the war . He didn't want anyone to know Russia had to use foreign weapons ,sound a bit odd even for uncle Joe .
  14. Hi ,might seem a trivial question ,but how big are said items in 1/48 scale ,finishing off my Tamiya spitfire ,thinking of using Tamiya yellow masking tape . Also in the version i am doing why are the squadron codes so big ,talking about the DW -O version ,and the fuselage roundel seems a bit on the large size .
  15. Very nice ,but ,but, THE GUNS WHAT ABOUT THE GUNS ?
  16. WOW ,40 P47s ,don't think there are that many aftermarket decals for them
  17. Thanks for clearing that up .Do i take it from your username you like P47s ? Or it that an understatement ,they are one of my favs ,i would lie to build one in every scale from 1/72 upwards . While we are on the subject ,got some after market decals ,for P47s ,one scheme shows a Razorback with a bulged cockpit hood ,does anyone make a canopy like that in 1/72 ?
  18. Finishing off the spit ,i cut out the door and cut some of the DW decal off to put on it ,even though it won't be seen .Put the remains of the decal on the plane followed by a coat of Solvaset . And what did it do ,yes i touch it with my finger 😞,anyway had to buy another kit from ebay for the decals .I was planning to do the other version sometime ,so an extra set will come in handy .
  19. Er ,that's wot i meant ,what does the ST in STGB mean?
