  1. Excellent! Was missing already a Kinetic F-16 around here. Which boxing is it? The nose issue is almost gone. I know Kinetic altered the moulds to address the nose but there's doubt when was that done and to what boxings.
  2. Nice build! These days every livery is the same: big extended tail logo + throw the name in front and off you go, they must be giving away the white. Shame that Lufthansa fell to that, where's the yellow? I think I'll keep building them like the good old days like this beautiful model.
  3. Nope Romeo Alpha Yankee, Safari on ios and Firefox on a Pc. Sounds interesting the plugin though, what's its name? Beautiful work Alex! As usual. Thanks for the explanation on the nose in the original post btw. Somehow I still can't render in my head the changes you describe. Do you have pictures of the necessary modifications to the nose?. Or maybe in a future build. The nose looks good to me, great work again. As I have several Revell -400s in my stash yours is very inspiring in not throwing them away and going for Authentic Airliners. That -200 looks great too! Landor is very classic.
  4. Hi Alex! Is there a way to be able to see the pictures? I am planning this build and your experience will be invaluable.
  5. Astonishing. I've seen them in action and they do battle harsh weather indeed. Got mine pending as well!
  6. Well done. I've always liked BCal aircrafts, specially the Dc-10, and the bus looks the part as well.
  7. Sweet! I was wondering about getting rid of mine, yours is telling me not to.
  8. Great as usual Alex! The nose is absolutely convincing, you tackled it superbly.
  9. Gorgeous! I needed a break in the dirty-cat-town. Most of the time I like them this way, congratulations!
  10. Great work! ant advice you can give us about rigging with Ezline? I am midway in the nightmare of the same thing with a Moth
  11. Thanks Rod and yes Trojan, out of the box. Just scratched the rectangular satcom antena on forward top.
  12. Grest looking Hurricane, congratulations!. And nice modification to the aerial as well. About the paints, I had the same problems and surprinsingly there was not as much info on the internet as I hoped, but did learn one thing: never thin with isopropyl alcohol. It is too strong and forms a goo that takes too much time to clean afterwards. In fact, it is always messy to clean. Some people are having good results with tamiya's thinner and some other with glassex (have not tried this one yet). This is something I'd like to resolve as the colours look accurate at least, can't they be that bad, do they?
  13. Excellent work, I am definitely getting one of these. I also like a lot the african yellow colors, haven't paid attention to those airlines before.
  14. Oh thanks for the heads-up. Modellers concerning, the only difference between the two types was the length of the fuselage?
  15. What an elegant aircraft, makes me wanna go get mine and build it. Will be difficult to decide between Ba, Raf, Boac and Bcal (there was this was one that had severe turbulence over the Andes and flew with a cracked spar back home without being noticed iirc). http://www.british-caledonian.com/BCal_ASIX_Andes.html As you can see, a very inspiring build indeed! Great work, congratulations.
  16. Boy, do these choppers have attitude! Which kit did you use for the 1/48? I have the Italeri Mh-60K hoping to be finished half as yours!
  17. Oh I love the Dc-10, my father flew them, and some were actually ANZ's leased to LanChile. Great job you made with this one! I am very sorry for your loss Richard. I am very aware indeed that for NZers the accident is still a current topic until this day. I am sure Jessica was not meaning to hurt anybody.
