  1. Thanks Steve This one is busy with a ton of detail and a pretty straight forward build. Lloyd
  2. I'm calling this finished as I want to complete that Russian KZKT Transporter to sit it on.
  3. Ozzy Something like 25 pieces to that RWS and it does look nice. Lloyd
  4. Martin Even with 80 links they are still not right, mine only took 79 per side and the tracks are not super tight, there's a little droop at the bottom when you pick it up. At least they give you enough to finish it with some spares, with 87 per side there just weren't enough. I'm glad I did not go ahead and assemble 87 links before checking as I actually did 80 and getting that last link apart to remove it wasn't easy. Just takes a dab of glue to hold them together and they sure do stay together and very flexible, makes it easier to install them. Thanks for checking, Lloyd
  5. Thanks Darryl I have to do painting on the tow cables and the big pry bar on the right rear needs to be something other than green but otherwise it's pretty much a wrap. Lloyd
  6. Thanks Ozzy Maybe not fantastic but a little dusty and the NATO Green is subdued a bit. It will do, lol. Lloyd
  7. Thanks Ivan It has Tamiya Dark Brown Panel Liner in all the cracks, crevices and seams followed by some dry brushing with lighter weathering powders. I think I'll leave it alone now. After I had glued that little table affair in place on the turret and painted everything NATO Green I realized it should have been a sand color. Too late and I wasn't going to attempt to mask it so it is green, lol. Should have painted it separately, oops. Lloyd
  8. Here it is today with some weathering. Didn't want to go too far as it is a new(er) vehicle.
  9. Thanks John No it was a bit of trial and "dammit" a few times but it looks acceptable I guess. Thanks Nick Yes it was all free hand airbrush with some do overs in places. First attempt was too dark so I lightened it a bit and the washes and dry brushing have darkened it some again but it's not bad. It is actually 3 colors but the black sort of gets lost in the green, oh well. BTW that's not over spray it is the dry brushing that brought up that sort of metallic look. Thanks Vaastav Hey never thought of that, maybe that paint scheme is n't so fictional after all, LOL. Lloyd
  10. Looking good Michael. There's something about jagdpanthers.
  11. I will consider this pretty much complete. Sort of a fictional camo scheme but whatever.
  12. Looking good John. Like you say lots of little adds and corrections. These weren't all that big but they were pretty busy. Lloyd
  13. Some gloss coat applied ready for decals.
  14. Some weathering applied. Needs some dullcoat and track work but it's coming. That gnome is still being a critic.
  15. Thanks John Don't know where I'm going from here. Thanks viper Lloyd
  16. Thanks Rob Probably not authentic but whatever. Lloyd
  17. Here it is today in a "blah" NATO Green. Have to work on this, I find monochrome paint schemes to be very "Challenging"
  18. It was too dark, too much green and black so added some more Dark Yellow 2 to the mix. Quite a bit lighter and will darken some with the weathering, hope not too much.
  19. Better you than me, no patience on this end, or not enough for that job, lol. Lloyd
  20. Rough camo scheme in place. Looks different. Seems pretty dark though so will fix that up a bit.
  21. It is all Tamiya Dark Yellow 2 this aft and may get some Olive Green and Flat Black yet today. Lloyd
  22. Looking good as usual. Those slats are going to be a project, a real project. Lloyd
  23. Looking good Soeren. I like your weathering approach and will have to steal it, lol. Lloyd
