  1. Thanks Steve I don't know where you would put much more detail. Thanks John Yes I have the older Academy Magach and the Meng is quite a bit better, especially with all the ERA. Of course it's newer and twice as costly. Lloyd
  2. Impressive viper. Sure looks like 1:1 scale to me. Geez, every time I look at the photos I see more details, beautiful job. Lloyd
  3. Quite a project and a superb job Phil. I like Jagdpanthers and love this one. Lloyd
  4. Thanks Darryl The panels are kit supplied and the numbers are decals. Yes that's an air recog panel, or supposed to be, actually orange painted tissue, lol. Lloyd
  5. Thanks redcap. Yes the modern stuff is rather "blah" Lloyd
  6. Finally did some more on this and will call it complete.
  7. Thanks Darryl. Yesterday I got the tires off the tractor and sanded them with 80 grit and installed the steps under the cab doors so the crew can get in. There's hope yet, it may get painted soon, lol. Lloyd
  8. Thanks viper This one is a couple of years old now. Lloyd
  9. Thanks armored Yes it will be pretty much the same as the box photo, I hope. The thing just falls together no problems (yet) and it's ready for paint when the operator gets at it. Lloyd
  10. Thanks John This one could use a bit more work on the tires, eventually I'll get back to it. I have a LAV-25 SLEP on the go to go with these two also. Lloyd
  11. Thanks Darryl Sanded the hell out of the tires with 80 grit then just a bit of pigments. Lloyd
  12. I didn't have any real problems with it Rob. I did pick up the new Hobby Boss Leopard C2 MEXAS not long ago and it's a more detailed kit. Lloyd
  13. Another small project in between all the Russian builds
  14. Thanks Darryl Yes almost 2 feet long. That's a T-72A sitting on it. Lloyd
  15. Thanks Darryl Now to get at that KZKT Transporter to put his on. Got some nice tie down chains and resin hooks and chain tighteners from Accurate Armour that I want to use on that and some home made chocks. Hope it looks and works ok. Lloyd
  16. That looks great John. That for sure is an ugly muzzle brake. Like the rolled canvas and the straps, no... dammit I like everything. Super job. Lloyd
  17. They look great Darryl. I bought one set for a Panther way back when and they are much better than the Meng or Dragon offerings and magnitudes better than the dumb Tamiya rubber band junk. The sag is realistic and they add some heft to the model and it's easy to have some worn bare metal on the tread faces and the guide horns. The drawback is they are over Cdn$80 per set. Run a lead pencil around the rims of the inside road wheels to show where they rubbed on the inside of the guide horns when you get to the weathering. They were usually pretty bare metal. Lloyd
