  1. thought you guys might want to see my hl KT. she is done as a what if, if a Konnie had survived to the end of the war and the battle for Berlin, hence ths ambush cammo. jeff http://i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff448/pornfinder2/P1011254.jpg http://i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff448/pornfinder2/P1011244_edited.jpg http://i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff448/pornfinder2/P1011248.jpg http://i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff448/pornfinder2/P1011236.jpg http://i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff448/pornfinder2/P1011241.jpg
  2. on nigels suggestion, have just read this entire thread. Have to say it is possibly the best, maddest thread ever. stunning and AA looks awesome. jeff ps on to nigels nosh.
  3. just read his from beginning to end. simply stunning dalek build, and I love all the banter. long may it continue. jeff
  4. looks fantastic bud, hope mine comes out as well. might try and run in the control wires in the cockpit, but as I said earlier, ther isn't much space to view and it might just end up being there because I know it is there. lol going to make another start on it tomorrow I think. sort of looking forward to it, but it builds into a cracking little plane
  5. that bad pte? didn't seem that bad a kit, although there doesn't seem to be and locating pegs anywhere. can see aligning the wings being a pta but apart from that seems a fairly straight forward kit. jeff
  6. cheers bud, the rigging diagram in the instructions sends my eyes daft lol. was going to go all out on the detailing, but you cant really see much though the cockpit opening. should still be fun though.
  7. cheers ben, usually just spray solid colour then weather it. want to do something different.
  8. guy, how do I put a mist coat on using my airbrush? do I over thin and spray with a higher pressure? any help would be great as i'm doing a camel so i'll need to mist on rib tapes etc. cheers Jeff
  9. has anyone built these? got the kits as a gift a while back, but frankly I was scared witless of the rigging. the models itself looks great and have made a start, but most the aircraft I build are second world war. any tips on the rigging, or where to get a good rigging diagram, especially the wings. looking forward to building them. cheers, Jeff
  10. going to be a good one, love tornados. I remember working at raf leeming a few years ago, when two of the hawk squadron, (100 I think ) were up for being seconded to the red arrows. they used to practice everyday so a free airshow. one day a tornado was out training and joined in. was stunning to see a frankly massive fighter doing the same display as the hawks. a memory that will stay forever. look forward to seeing this dio. going to great. jeff
  11. simply stunning, reminds me of my old xj650, except the whole seat was gaffer tape. lol cant wait to see it tied together on a base, will really make it stand out. brilliant work. jeff
  12. did this sort of rat rod effect on my 1:1 bike. sprayed ford Aztec bronze over the whole bike, then random colours on the panels , paying attention to the edges, the primered it.( I know bottom backwards) after it had dried I attacked it with 1200 wet and dry and scotchbrite pads, trying to just cut through the primer and into to paint below. the effect was of a bike that been sat outside and well used. the best bit was when people would ask me how I managed to get plastic to rust. lol . Cant wait to see how both the samba's (sambi's ??) turn out. jeff
  13. any one got any ideas where I can find some good cockpit interior shots? tried all over.was going to try and light it with fiber optics, but I have closed up the engines and the hull. that's what I get foor not thinking ahead. lo jeff
