  2. looks great paul, really good tribute, and dora's ears look a little like spit wings. our rotty helped lynne with her depression, but we lost her just before christmas, so i know how hard it can be. hope everything goes well. jeff

  7. hi guys, just about to start to build a roden be2c. anything major i should be looking at? and is there any photo etch available? have the eduard camel duo pack, so i'm going to use a few bits out of that, but i'm guessing i'll need more. also any good sites for photos/ walkrounds? want to make this a good 'un especially as it will be my first go at a fully rigged biplane. jeff
  8. just read this all the way through. real labour of love and it looks great, never tried pva to mask off canopies. how does that work and how do you get get it off again? jeff

  11. really nice bud, this is the wifes fave aircraft, built one years ago for her, but yours is better. i used a ref book that showed the whole plane red and not withthe blue underssides, boy was that book wrong lol. wish i could brush paint as well as you. jeff

  15. has anyone done the planet express ship from futurama? one of my favorite shows and would be coolto have it and my scratch building skills are not really up to it. jeff
  16. both look fantastic, would love the xb-35 but dont know where i would put it, it's huuuuuuge. dont think i have ever seen a twist and turn retract on a nose wheel before. great job. jeff
  17. just been on the wonderland site. £75 and the mrs said, and i qoute "hmm thats not bad" so it looks like i might just have to pre order one. just need to learn how to do stormy water and how to rig tall ships. jeff

  19. guys, knowing nothing about ships , mostly doing ww2 armour, lynne waants me to do a model of the black pearl fro the pirates of the caribian films. has anyone got any idea what sort of sip it was based on or any info i can go on? going to be a plastic kit as a will not pay the price of the part work that has come out and it doesnt look right either. jeff

  22. looks fantastic so far. is this a current kit? would love to build it as i used to love watching the program on telly when i was a kid.helped that i used to live in the middle east and would go snorkling in the arabian gulf almost every day. jeff
