      Hi Andy,

       

      No the WIP is up to date, I haven't even got the fuselage halves together yet - also I'm off to Aberdeen for a week tomorrow to help Jamie at Sovereign Hobbies tin-up some paint for one of the US distributors so I won't be making a lot of progress in the immediate future. How is yours going? Are you going to have the engine on display or all closed up?

    I have been gifted a Airfix wellington for my birthday from my lovely children! Gosh it looks a highly detailed and beautiful kit! Shame it’s in my stash and not someone else’s 😂

     

    text from ex wife on my birthday:

     

    hi, your daughter has informed me we MUST buy you an ‘Airfix wellington’.... how do I do this, she won’t let it go.

     

    I of course sent her a link within seconds.

     

    good to see my 8 year old has my back, though it’s noted my son (turned 7 five days after me) remained quiet about the whole thing

    This is what happens when you argue with a horse!

    We've just had a fun weekend. One of our horses went badly lame on Saturday,and the other one did this to me on Sunday morning as I was giving him some hay in his stable. It's only the second time it has happened in 25 years but the last time I ended up in hospital with concussion. The damage was mostly done by my glasses being smashed into my face which also cut my eyebrow in couple of places and removed some hair. The glasses survived and the lame horse is getting better, so must n't grumble.

      One of your horses punched you in the face? While you were wearing glasses? That's pretty harsh John :( 

       

      Hope it doesn't hurt as much as it looks like it ought to...
